Eh I don't know. If you had asked me as a kid I would have said Sky easily but after playing all the games again I gotta say Sky has some really hindering flaws in what everyone proclaims are the best parts of it. There's a lot of things about it, even in the Special Episodes, that don't make a whole lot of sense when applied to the larger timeline of the game. I think Sky had the best final bosses, but I think PSMD had the best storyline of the group.

Yeah, I remember you mentioned that glaring flaw with "how come there are humans in the future but none in the past?" I have to agree, there is a major missing loose end there that never gets explained. I wouldn't say it kills the storyline dead in the water, but it doesn't make it look good when that is brought to the light.

It be simple as this is an uncharted island(s). One that humans don't know about or see. Which would explain why there's only one that we know of (ourselves). Otherwise there's many things to wonder about. Humans in the future could have become exinct while in the past it's just they don't know of the area since it's a lone set of uncharted islands. Something like that.

You can't really question too much about the origins of humans in the pokemon universe, in any of the games. I mean, it's not like humans would just pop out of the ground, they'd have to evovle from something, but there's no monkeys/apes/non-pokemon animals for them to have evolved from. You can't relly say they could have evolved from Ape/monkey-like pokemon because none of the powers pokemon have appear in humans.

Clearly the answer is that humans are actually alien invaders that have been on the planet so long they forgot their origins.

They don't always say so. In Explorers you're already in that world. So that's kinda not true in that sense. Others, yeah cause they state that, but Explorers you're already a part of that world. Unless they brought you into that world as a human to be a human that doesn't work. But it mentioned how you had always been in that darkness, so I'm pretty sure that's a no on other worlds.

Well it pretty much does that in every game. it could be as simple as play on words. Maybe, maybe not. Thing is, it was also stated that there were more humans than you in game too, but they were quite rare. So even if by that small chance you weren't one of those, there were more.

Actually the only games where multiple humans are ever referenced as GtI and PSMD. In GtI it's a huge plot point but in PSMD it's just a subtle nod through Ninetales and a few other characters. In TDS there's never mention of other humans.
