Some people prefer and would love to continue working as it's their "job" and they make money doing it. I'd prefer getting out of there soon as I can. In fact, I would RUN to get out of there.

The time is upon us...
. Pika Pair with the yellow bundle of fluff Chibi Altaria..
The main reason I want to work is so I can buy a house soonish.
SAME. I'd love my own home. It doesn't need to be big or super-fancy or by the beach or any of that junk. Just a cool cozy hovel to call my own, furnish it exactly how I want, and really enjoy my time there.
I just feel with renting an apartment, it never really feels like it's truly yours. Like it's just an extended hotel stay.
Agreed. I really want to have my own place. Also, I wouldn't be able to play drums or anything loud in an apartment.
Optimally, I want to find a place that doesn't have neighbors literally next to me, probably somewhere in Bucks County PA. I'd love to move somewhere on the west coast (my aunt, uncle and cousins love it there), but if my band's still together I don't really want to ditch that. Regardless, no New Jersey. XD
Funny, I was looking at PA, also. Probably in Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, or something around there. Everything around here in NJ is astronomically expensive for JUNK. I'd rather commute a little longer each day than live in an overpriced NJ hellhole where real estate tax will make you bleed money from your anus.
I have the feeling NJ is making itself a home only for baby boomers and no one else. All the people from my generation that still live here are either struggling like heck to get by or they're putting up with junk. Meanwhile the crime plague that's surrounding Newark and Camden is spreading like cancer. I swear, Google image search "Camden New Jersey" and I've seen areas in Fallout 4 look better than that!
