Speaking of golf, is that like a thing now? Do all presidents have to play golf?

Actually a lot of presidents throughout history have played golf! JFK is a pretty famous one as is Gerald Ford.

Maybe there's something secret about it we don't know about. Who knows! I mean, they're out in the open (sorta) and it's time to themselves, but more to some than others I'd say.

Yeah but some like Trump seem to play every chance they get when they should be more focused on the job.

I mean sure but do you work 24/7? Sure you’re not out golfing but you do watch TV or spend time on PXR. Golf is actually a great stress relief and allows for better sleep cycles. We can’t all be focused on work all the time. And Trump’s job as president doesn’t require him to be working all the time. That’s what his staff is for. It’s why politicians have staffs.

While that may be true, I'm not paying for you to go golf damn near every weekend. From what I understand he's already spent his allowance for Secret Service in less than a year. That was suppose to last for 4 years.

Similar things with Obama too. Every time we'd see him he was on "vacation" and going golfing. Another similar stance on that is how when he was first campaigning. He was soooooo upset with how much Bush had spent and made our national debt rise. Which at the time was I think near 3 trillion. I mean he was saying how it should be nothing close to that. After 8 years of him in office. See how much that went up by? Now what was all that clammer about the national debt not supposed to be that high? And he did double that in his first term. It's the little things most people fail to see.

We didn't work to pay for a president's vacation. Yet Bush, Obama, and yes event Trump are take the time to do it anyway. Some of Obama's "family vacations" even cost in the millions! The kind of money that cost us hundreds even thousands!

And while I get your point I still disagree that it’s wrong of him to play golf. Let the man play golf if he wants to play golf. No one complained when Obama went to go see Hamilton when he was in office. And that’s a lot more expensive than playing golf. It’s only after he’s been out of office that he’s started to catch some smack. That’s what his staff is for. Presidents are pretty much just glorified figureheads. Would you rather have him spend more time golfing or more time flapping his gums in front of a camera? Because that’s really all his job boils down to other than signing laws and checking in on his staff.

As for the secret service, as unpopular of a person as he is, can you really blame him for wanting a lot of protection? Now I think part of that budget was spent during his campaign trail as well in which there were several attempts to harm him, but I don’t know the specific calculations for a secret service budget.
