I’m actually set to get LASIK done on… January 5 I believe. They said I’m a great candidate other than (per usual) I’m very small. The lasers are one size fits all and my eyes are so small that they’re worried the laser might not actually work very well with my eye. And we won’t find out until they start the surgery. So we’ll see how that goes.

Out of curiousity, where at? My brother had his in Columbia at a place where his insurance covered it. I'll be looking into the same place myself. Either way, we will be wishing you the best when that time comes. My brother has told me a little about it....though it still worries me. They assure me I can preservere. The receptionist there said he was just like me. Really worried, don't like anyone touching my eyes, he's even scared of cats (I'm not). I mean I didn't go, I had work, but I wished him the best. They are soooooooo accommodating. My family mentioned me and asked if I'd have to wait for another special and the manager gave them a smile and told them "oh no, I have a lot of buttons for specials I can push." So....I've gotta look into it

Oh they’re so accommodating. We had issues with insurance to where it was possible I’d have to do one eye at a time versus both at the same time and they were very willing to help with that. Now it worked out that wasn’t necessary but they were very accommodating. I’m getting mine done at a facility in Greenville and they seemed pretty good. I can’t remember the name off the top of my head but I can get it to you if you want.

Oh I was just wondering because I'm gonna be going to the one in Columbia soon myself. Gotta talk with them and make an appointment for exams and stuff to see if I'm a good candidate. But if you use someone as a referral it helps benefit someone else. Was thinking you can use my brother if it was the same. I don't know since he went to the one in Columbia and you're going to Greenville. They may be owned by the same so I don't know if it'll work. Oh well.
