Gah, this is so stupid.

I'm on my way home from visiting my grandparents, currently sitting in an airport. My first flight was scheduled for 8AM this morning, but one of the enge's starter's failed completely, so we all had to get off the plane so they could take it in for replacement parts. So instead of leaving this morning, I'm leaving at 3 in the afternoon. which is the same time my connecting flight was supposed to take off. Luckily there was another one I could book a spot on, but it doesn't leave until 10 tonight and I won't get home until past midnight.

They gave us a free lunch at least while we waited, and there is free wifi. The wifi is a joke though. There is this really stupid site blocking system, as if this was a high school instead of an airport. This is one of the onlysite I was able to get on (of the ones I generally hang around) the others are blocked for "games" or "multimedia" which means I also can't listen to the radio at all, since they all count as multimedia sites. They even block sites without actually blocking them. I can't get on youtube, not because it's blocked, but because its DNS server "happens" to be down.

So in other words, my flight got delayed 7 hours, there's not much to do here, I have 6-7 hours of flight to actually take still, the wifi here is bull, and I'm not getting home until after midnight as opposed to 5 this afternoon.

That's terrible. Flight delays always make things annoying. I haven't been on many flights. So any problems like that would make it a learning experience for me. It makes it especially bad when your new flight is set to land when your other takes off or if it gives you just minutes.

They're blocking most things on the internet most people do every day! That's pretty crazy! Some people may need to keep in contact with business for their flight and it be blocked by these airports. What about the kids? I mean not all the kids there will have handheld systems or something else. Sometimes they go online. Don't make things much easier does it. Not to mention now you'll be getting home incredibly late.

I can only hope when I finally take that trip to Japan nothing like that happens. Though I hear every worker there at the airports in Japan pretty much understand and speak English. Any fun apps on you phone? Not carrying your 3DS? Long trips I find myself doing that just in case now days.

Either way hang in there! Hopefully it won't be too rough.

Even just the narrations were cool as well. That was definitely a fun thing we had going on. People seem to be more into comics than fan fiction these days, but hey, I think that could have voice acting, sound effects, and stuff like that where it becomes like an audiobook to play alongside going through the comic. You could do that for Bridge to Invention if you're up for it. And hey, if you need a voice actor for a character, I'd be game for it. :D

Yes! I would love to make more animations again when I have more time.

Hm..yeah, I could see it working for comics too! I'd love to have people voice Bridge of Invention scenes!
