No Electric-type deserves to be denied access to their STAB. Actually, no Pokemon deserves that fate. Besides, don't Pikachu need to discharge electricity every now and then? You wouldn't be able to do that with a plastic cone around your neck.

Yeah it's pretty deadly if we can't discharge a little every now and then. Not to only us, but others around us when it finally becomes too much. So YUP! Anything, but that Cone of Shame. XD. Have mercy, Ninetales! No cone of shame. Give me silly googaly eyes to wear for a few weeks, make me have to wear the Popstar Pikachu outfit w/ bow, female with heart shaped tail included, make my ears more floppy. Anything....except harmful things. XD

No kidding. A lot of Pokemon families in Gen 1 were locked out of STAB because almost everything had a terrible movepool back then. Finite TMs were no help, especially those which you couldn't buy/obtain multiple of. And speaking of Unown, Gen 7 created an Ability that seems perfect for it and it doesn't get it T-T

Yeah as much fun as it was then (and is now to play with) Gen 1 was a mess in all kinds of ways. Those poor bug types and their no moves. Psychic type was basically John Cena LOLWINNING everywhere if not getting messed with by broken wraps.

Bleg. I've felt horrible this last week. First illness of the year, and it's hit harder than any I can remember. At first I could barely swallow without wincing, and I'm still coughing every time I take a breath. Normally I get over stuff in a few days, but this just keeps dragging on and on. And my head feels like my brain melted, then evaporated, and now it's formed a thunderstorm in my skull. Not fun.

Oh dear. I can't relate - my bad habit of putting everything in my mouth as a child gave me a rock hard immune system. But it is flu season anyways, isn't it? Or is it the cold? I have no clue.
