Same here. There were a bunch of fields I avoided simply because of how rough the math stuff gets.

I don't know why, but I just didn't have really good math teachers in all my years of high school. It's a really delicate subject that doesn't allow for open-ended responses or different interpretations.

Yeah some classes for math I'd be so lost on. I just couldn't handle them whatsoever. I'd be so lost. There's be times I've studied so much and it did so little that I've wanted to just walk out of the class. I even went to tutoring and it did so little. Math isn't for me xD

Yeah, I had to resort to tutoring also in order to pass a class. It's ridiculous. There's only one way to do it right and if you even just make a tiny little mistake during one of the many steps it takes to solve these equations, forget it, the whole thing is ruined.

My thing was the teachers that taught the class were SO BAD at explaining the HOW and the WHY things went from A to B and they went so fast that it was impossible to follow. Why did those numbers do that? How did you perform that operation? You didn't get those answers, they just went on to the next problem and assumed you were reading their minds. That's the thing that bugs me about it.

That was an issue with me too. They went through and it's like they'd show the problem. Tell us it that this equation means you put this number here and by doing that you take this number and it means you move his number here here and here, do this and then PEMDAS as usual. It's so confusing and makes almost no sense. Those invisible numbers are the worst

Ah, PEMDAS was only the tip of the iceberg. That's really just the slap in the face you get at the front entrance of algebra hell.

My boss who is a scientist said she took high-level math classes as electives. That's something I wouldn't even dream of doing, but my guess is she must have had some really good teachers that knew how to communicate the material across in ways that most people would understand.

I'd say if I had to choose it'd be Cool Ranch, but I don't like Doritos that much.
