    Pikachu Balloon Flies for Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving means another time for Pikachu to fly!

Pikachu is all set to fly once again in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Pokemon fans can look forward for Pikachu to take the skies in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The parade is an annual tradition in America. It is used to celebrate Thanksgiving but also mark the start of the Christmas season.
This year will mark Pikachu’s 17th appearance in the parade. There have been several Pikachu balloons including one that can light up. This year Pikachu will be taking the skies wearing festive scarf and a snow-Pikachu in his hands.
The parade will be going though Manhattan. Though if you can’t make it to New Year City then you can watch it all on NBC. It will start at 9 a.m. and end at noon on Thanksgiving Day.

I'm so glad to see it's still in! I mean they DID just replace the balloon with a new one. So I would highly doubt they would only use it once the done. Would LOVE to see it in person again one day :)

I look forward to seeing this balloon every year. I may never get to see it in person but it makes me so happy when I see that Pikachu on TV.

I haven't seen this new one in person, but I've seen the other two. They're flat out amazing!

Seeing them on NBC is nothing like seeing them in real life, though. You look up, and up, and up, and you're just like... "whoooooaaaa, that's one BIG Pikachu!" It puts every Pokémon fan's inner Pikachu in such a happy place to know that such a thing exists.

Lucky you got to see them all so far though! I only had the chance to see the last one. The one where the cheeks were flashing. I was ecstatic to see it even at the age of 21 xD. Though the crowd where I was at suuuuuuuuucked. Right at the edge of Times Square where the Walgreens intersects where the New Years ball drops. But you're right. There is NOTHING like seeing it in person and looking up to that giant. I'd love to make it a goal to see each one of them, but I doubt that would happen unless I get rich somehow....

I would love to see it in person one day. That will make my heart fly! Though I love spending Thanksgiving with my family so if I do this then I may not be able to spend it with my folks.
