I just noticed your mesprit, its really good. You have improved a lot since your Bulbasuar the background in the second one looks great it really drew my attention.

Thanks, i still have a lot more improving to do but i agree that i have gotten better since the bulbasaur.
Got yet another picture. I made this Eevee for my upcoming story (my writing skills are far from fantastic but i figured id give it a try)
the background is basicly the same as my Bulbasaur but much much better.

Yes, you've definitely gotten better! ^.^
LOL IT'S SO CUTE. And yes, you're right about the background being much better! I like the way this one has been coloured, and the pose is pretty nice too. ^^ I love the way you did the background; the style is cool and everything fits together nicely. Also feel free to add your own little touches to pokemon you draw, such as some fur ruffles here or there. x) It also helps to reduce the rigidity because it's showing that you're being more free with your art. The right side of the eevee's head has a long slant where it should probably be a bit more rounded, to create more of a headshape. The left side is great though, especially where you put the cheek at the base of the eye.
By having that top line on the back leg, it separates the leg from the body and makes it seem like a piece that was glued on or something, so keep in mind that you don't need lines like that if body parts are adjoining. x)

lol thanks, i didn't even notice that weird part on its head. also that didn't occur to me when i was making the leg.
I am totally spamming this thread with art. Non pokemon related, just something i drew in art class. its an M4 Sherman (WWII American tank) being fired at by a Panther (WWII German tank). Part of the image is blurry because the background is watercolor and the paper warped slightly so when i scanned it it didnt scan perfect but whatever. also a tiny bit of the image got cut off on the right side but i couldnt fix it

I originally was only going to make one so i posted it in the general spriting showcase but i made another so i will post both here. The already posted one is the honedge. These are my first REAL attempts at sprites so i really don't have much idea what i'm doing.

Wow, this sucks!

Just kidding. It's very different from your other ones, due to the watercolors, but it looks very nice! Good job!
Thank you. I expect once i get better at using this program my future drawings will be much better than my ones with paint.net
