Storms! Do you fear them?

Do you fear storms? Thunderstorms for the most part.

I myself have a huge fear of thunderstorms...and as I type this up there's one going on right now. I don't like the thunder or the sound of the wind when it blows hard. I try everything to keep myself calm and I tend to do better when I have someone around. Usually it's one of my friends who I've dubbed a "Storm Sitter" because they come babysit me during a storm. They love to poke fun at me about it. And the funny part is I love weather and can watch the weather channel for hours. (Because I have no life.)

So what about you? Do you love storms or do you fear them like me?

I love storms. x) They're super awesome. 8D The sound of rain is really soothing to me, and I love watching lightning bolts strike across the sky. I also think the sound of thunder is awesome.

I adore thunderstorms. The more electrically active, the better. The absolute most restful sleep I ever have is during thunderstorms. They are the beauty, majesty, and power of creation all wrapped up in one hell of a light show! I just wish the rain didn't drop the temperature here so dramatically, otherwise I'd sit on my porch and watch a thunderstorm for hours. It's flat and featureless as far as the eye can see here so we have an amazing panoramic view of the skies. It makes storm watching incredible.

I'm afraid of most storms. Huge lightning storms come at random and they always scare me. Some storms have even killed people and most of the time they occur, there's no one else around to protect me.

Being afraid of storms is very natural ! That kind of information has been passed down to us for thousands of years. Its nice to like watching them but mother nature is not putting on a show for you. Storms can be pretty deadly, heck even the side effects can be deadly.

My gf loves storms, my roommate is terrified by them. I dont really care about them to much, having to walk almost everywhere for most of my life I have grown use to being caught in them. At this point there mostly announce.

I fear them. A lot. I usually put my head under a pillow and shiver in fear until they're done.

I have never really cared much for them. Neither like or dislike them.

It scares me so much that I just don't say anything anymore. My dog is deaf now so he can't hear them anymore like he used to. I always like clear days than messy days.

I know my one cat could care less about storms but my other cat will hide in the closet. I was always much worse when I was younger but seemed to get a little better as I got older.
