But otherwise eh, not really doing anything in particular. Still a working day so that's where I'll be most of the day anyway. What will you be up to?

I will probably be sleeping in a bus for seven hours while we drive to Madrid because ya girl gets car sick and the instructors won’t let me take a train.

Urf. That's a LOOONG drive. That's crazy, I'm sure a train would have been faster.

For some reason, I find it way easier to sleep on a train rather than a bus. Usually a train ride is nice and calm while a bus constantly changes speeds, stops, turns, gets stuck, and all that other stuff.

Me neither, amigo. I don't even know what I'd do if I did. Get jewelry? See a movie? Go out to dinner? I feel like all that's been done a trillion times before and it's just not as unique. And I'd way rather do something wild, fun, and totally out of the ordinary, but I'd have to know the girl's personality way better to get a feel for what she might enjoy as opposed to the usual blah. Thing is, around here, there really isn't that much stuff that fits the bill of being unique.

My dad and I had this conversation and we both came to the conclusion that... love is expensive. You'd need to get her gifts for her birthday, Christmas, Valentine's Day, and if you're married, you can tack on the anniversary and if you have kids, Mother's Day as well. It doesn't get cheaper the further you go. :P

Booooo you guys are no fun!!

Here's how a date with me would go. First it would be a game. I decide on something fun to do, and then she would decide. If either one of us can't decide, then it's okay to pass.

First choice of mine would be heading off to the firing range. Because chicks with guns are lots of fun. Plus if there's ever a zombie apocalypse, they'll be thankful for having that experience. But in all honesty, it's enlightening to be more familiar with these kinds of things. But that's only if she's open to new kinds of things like this. If she really doesn't want to, I wouldn't force her. I was a little sheepish at first myself, so I get that. But then I got a feel for the satisfaction that blasting a few holes in a target can bring.

On my second turn, we test drive something, but she chooses the car. It can be the car she's thinking of getting next, but I think it would be fun to try it out together. Plus I could also give her my thoughts about it if she's curious.

Third turn, we head to the mall, and check out one of those crazy gift/novelty stores or something like that. The rule is you can't come out empty-handed, either. You have to buy at least something fun or silly. If it's something you can wear, then it has to be worn immediately.

Lunch can be anywhere she wants. I would also urge her to try something on the menu she's never tried before. Then share a dessert.

In the afternoon, fourth turn would be to try geocaching for a while. It motivates you to venture off the beaten path and look in mysterious places for secret things people have hidden. It's fun and gets you some nice fresh air.

And if there's still time for more fun, wrap it up with something that we liked to do as kids. Now do it as adults. And buy the one thing or do the one thing we wanted to do as kids, but couldn't due to time or money.

But yeah, that's the kind of stuff I'd do. :3

Hey, I wish I had a nice girl like that. Just none seem interested in little old me. The nice and generous act just doesn’t cut it these days it seems. That’s why I still have the mindset with how things are today that girls can get a boyfriend “slightly” easier than us guys. Mainly cause guys are always picking on girls in that way. I dunno that’s just my thoughts on it though. Also cause typically it falls to the guy to start by asking. Not even knowing if she does or doesn’t have the mind to. Though it’s still not easy either way. Some are a bit harsher than others about it or too picky before even giving it a try. Never know what you could be missing or who they will turn out to be some day.

When it comes down to it I’m sure I’d figure something out, but I don’t have anything “planned” out. I’d kinda thinkmaybe it’d start with just hanging out and getting to know each other while watching shows we like, playing a game, or something similar. Nothing big or movie like to start. I don’t think buying a gift for her would be the best way to start out. At least nothing extravagant. Love isn’t something everyone needs or wants.

And of course no guilting you for that, Noble. Flowers can be a nice gift! Not only do they look nice, but can smell really pretty too.
