My limit is four hours of continuous driving. After that my butt just hurts and I need some kind of break at least for an hour.

Longest I've driven was three hours. In a snowstorm at rush hour. Not fun.

We were supposed to leave after they finished attending some gala but it ran like three hours later than they though so we ended up driving at a way later hour than anticipated.

Longest rides I’ve done were like 12-14 hours with no stops. Not fun.

One of my coworkers drove all the way to California. Took 6 days.

We did a ride from Los Alamos NM back to Augusta GA before. So slightly similar except we had stops here and there for lunch and bathroom breaks. Still it's not fun being stuck in a car for so long.

I feel if it takes more than a day of driving, just take a flight down. Otherwise you end up wasting so much time just driving. And for me, it takes about a month just to earn one day of vacation.

Actually mom wasn't on any of these trips (though last night when I took my shift to drive that did occur yes). These trips were with the debate team and fencing team. So instead we had people arguing politics the whole time in one vehicle and in the other everyone was playing pokémon or sleeping.
