So my dad and I went as Chip and Dale (respectively) to our local YMCA's Halloween Spooktacular. I got us these crazy mascot costume versions and they were an instant hit with all the adults and kids. Plus seeing my dad get into one of these things and give all the kids high fives was priceless. XD

But... we only lasted an hour. Now, I've worn mascot costumes before, but these got SO HOT, SO FAST. These had padding inside and I don't know why they needed that, but holy crap, we both agreed we now have exactly what we need to survive nuclear winter. XD But yeah, in only fifteen minutes, we were feeling it.

The only issue was visibility wasn't too great with these costumes, and if there were any kids standing right in front of us, we couldn't see them, even if we looked down. We kind of needed to bail after it got REALLY crowded, and it was just getting hotter and hotter. But it was fun, we waved to a lot of kids, and we got a lot of "hey look, it's Chip and Dale!" All that fun and extra attention is worth the sweating bullets. XD

Imagine a post-apocalypse story about a nuclear winter where the main characters dress in mascot costumes to keep warm...

Overall sounds like a pretty fun day though! Halloween is always really fun, though I haven't celebrated it in any real way in years.

Sounds like you had a great time! Let's just hope it's not one of those times where you turn into what you're dressed as. Otherwise you'll need to ditch that ASAP and get that Emolga suit out.

Made for a good time for kids and adults that grew up with them I'm sure. Heck I'm more than sure the same goes for those Pikachu suits. Having all that air in them to keep them so puffy.

    The time is upon us...

It was great, but a little crazy. And some sweat, but it was worth it. XD

Yeah, it's a shame it's impossible to buy the authentic ones. The knock-offs look just plain bad. XP
