wow that sounds like it had some problems. The one my brother wasn't too bad. Just left droppings literally everywhere. The were so small they even slipped outside it's ball it used to roll around the house sometimes. It didn't bite us, but it walked off the second story of it's cage sometimes and fell on it's backside. I actually found it sleeping inside of the tube it crawls through to get to the top of the cage before.
