I still can't believe DBR has been going on for over five months now. XD
Seriously, we were celebrating THANKSGIVING when it first started.

It definitely needs to be sped up. In comparison, PSG rounds were started and finished in less than a month's time. I'm not saying it needs to be done that fast, but I don't think it should last any longer than three months.
I think less starting stages, limited evolves, team play, and multi-battles will make a big difference. If DBR2 is team based, then it only needs to keep going until one team is out rather than all players except one.

On a similar note, I think I'm forever locked out of my Origin account. I tried to get my account password recovered and nothing's coming through.
Eh, I think Battlefield 4 is dead anyway. Everyone's moved on from it, but darn it, it was seriously good fun for many hours and unfortunately I don't think they're going to make another game like it.
That and I've had it with EA games. The Battlefield series was the only thing still forcing me to tolerate dealing with EA, but even that's going into the gutter. Compared to Battlefield 4, which I logged 400+ hours into, I maybe only logged like 10 hours into Battlefield 5 and it just got boring quickly.
EA is just rapidly falling apart. Some places just don't care about fixing their password system either. I can't even access my Town of Salem account anymore still. That has been ongoing too. There were a few games run by EA I USED to play, but don't anymore. They all used Origin. So I wonder if I'm locked out of those or if they're just having issues right now...
and oof. That's tough, Green. Sorry to hear that. There a way to salvage the save slot?
Also I won a new Pikachu plush recently from that crane machine mobile game. Got it on first try which is really tough to do on a Japanese crane machine. I just got really lucky.

Man I hope my origin account hasn't been locked either. My copy of Sims 4 is on that.
Yeah, I can't access my Town of Salem account anymore either. I'm beginning to think that was intentional because when I first started playing, you could buy skins, pets, and other features in time with the normal currency. It was fun and it motivated you to play more. You didn't have to go the microtransaction route if you didn't want to. And I got a bunch of neat ones through continuous play. Then they had a patch and now the only way to get that stuff is through microtransactions and that second "special" currency. The currency you get from just normal play is next to useless now. I already had most of the skins I wanted, so it wasn't that much of a bother, but now that I'm locked out of my account, all that stuff's gone. Sorry, but I don't want to start all over and be stuck with the boring default skins. And I'm just tried of games pushing microtransactions. I'll go back to playing older retro and indie games if that's what it means.
And yup, being locked out of my Origin account means I can't even play Battlefield 5 either because that was tied to my account. That alone is a reason never to trust EA because without a working password recovery system, you're going to get locked out of playing games you should own and lose any save files or unlocks. Now it's more like you're paying $60+ bucks just to rent them, and they're games that pale in comparison to how the franchises used to be. And that's all because EA abuses developers to vomit out half-finished games within unreasonable deadlines rather than encourage them to spend the time to make them fun, enjoyable, and add as much replay value as they can. All EA cares about is the money. And I'm going to do my patriotic duty by making sure they don't get any from me anymore.
Offhand, I've never had much luck with crane games. I'd rather buy those plushie things outright. At least then you can get the exact one you want, guaranteed, and without running the risk of dumping loads of money into the machine and come out completely empty-handed.
Yeah this is part of why I never really expanded outside Nintendo for my games. Out of most gaming franchises today they seem to be one of the ones with better ethical standards than most. To me they appear to actually care about their fanbase, even when they include microtransations. Pokemon GO is still playable without the transactions and everything in the microtransactions menu is still purchasable if you pop in gyms enough. I think Pocket Camp was the same way too even if I don't really remember it well.
And with the SSB games, sure they've added some DLC content, but at least with SSBU, all the characters everyone wanted were included in the base game. Characters like Piranha Plant and Joker were just additionals that you don't have to buy but can if you want to. Highly requested characters like Pichu, Roy, and Mewtwo this time around weren't DLCs, but even when they were DLCs, it was great that Nintendo thought to include them even if it was behind a pay wall.
And if their recent deal with Amazon Prime is anything to go on, they're trying to ensure there's opportunities to try Nintendo Online and other products. To me it really seems like Nintendo cares about their fans and is trying to do their best on balancing being a successful business with catering to their fans. And while there's been issues here and there, I think overall in the grand scheme of things, they've done well.
