Same deal as Scytherwolf, I'm not nearly at enough carnivals to actually play the games. That being said, crane games have always really captured my interest and imagination. Those little stuffed Pikachus are so tantalizingly close, but in reality I'd end up paying 10 dollars to get one when they're 8 dollars at Target. I guess it comes down to satisfaction? I'd feel more victorious winning one in a game then just buying one at a store.

I don't typically go to carnivals/parks either. So I hardly get a chance to try those. Besides Toreba I haven't really even tried a crane game around here. There's never anything worth it really here.

As far as carnivals/parks go, I usually go to them when I'm at the shore, like when we're at Ocean City, NJ for vacation. I mainly to Skeeball, because one of the arcades down there has 10 cent Skeeball (11 games if you give it a dollar). It's a nice deal! Also an occasional round or two of Guitar Hero Arcade.

Honestly, I go to beaches more for the boardwalk fun, because I just don't like sand. I like the water and ambience, but the sand is just a pain and gets everywhere. XD

Yeah the sand can be an annoyance. I'd rather not wear sandals as they're a hassle too. I don't wanna be a shoobie either xD. Though boardwalks can be super fun. Haven't played Skeeball in ages either. Some reason I was always better at the basketball carnival games.

Oh yeah, the basketball games are fun too. I played a few games of that at Dave and Busters with Xanthe, Neo and Mike.

Yeah, and I was kinda meh at it. Been out of practice. XD

Xanthe and I totally rocked that Terminator Salvation game, though. Maybe I'm more of a warrior than an athlete. XD

Dave and Busters is just flat out awesome! One of these days I'll have to come up there and challenge you guys to a children's card game games at D&B's and hang out or something.

Yeah, we were having a blast all four of us playing that Tomb Raider game... and then the game just got stuck. Shot up all the enemies on screen and then poof, nothing happened and the game didn't advance. Must have been some weird bug, but it was a total buzzkill.

Oof yeah that'd be a total buzzkill. I was playing it with my sister at the Columbia D&B and she just gave up because I kept doing better than her. That's the frustration I had to deal with on it xD. Would be nice to have an awesome group to play that with though.

The Halo: Fireteam Raven game was great with the four of us. I think we wanted to start with that, but there were already other people playing it. But that's a good one and we went pretty far. Thing with these games is there are parts where you're guaranteed to take gobs of damage and thus, keep having to swipe your card to keep in the game. I think it's flat-out impossible to go through the entire thing without taking a scratch.
