For me, I'm happy I just landed a job that's going for $62K with a pension. Seriously, a pension is like finding a unicorn.
Ye But in DC rent is like $3000 a month so it’s probably higher up there because of that. And the rent in Arlington, Georgetown, and Baltimore are better but still hefty. $600 to $2000 depending on where you look.
Yeesh, that's a ton of rent. I remember when I went to college, rent for the apartment I lived in was $800 a month. I can't image rent at $3000 a month - I could barely even live in the $800 month apartment.

Yeah I know some of my friends got some super low end like awful rat infested apartments but even those were like $1200 a month. Might've been summer rates? Who knows.
