Jokes aside, i am thinking of getting back into TCG with the new SwSh era coming in.

What exactly was the V-Card?

I enjoyed the TCG for some time, but I had so many solid strategies nailed because of my bad luck or an opponent's good luck. I guess for one thing, it's one of those games you can't really take all too seriously and have to enjoy the possibility of good or bad fortune.

It's a new type of card being added to the game. But what he meant is something totally different....aha.

TCG to me was so different and had all these many different stipulations to it. Made it quite hard at times. I'm still trying to learn more.

Yeah, I Googled it and it sounds like something they're adding, not taking away.

I wasn't crazy about EX Pokemon when they added them. I've seen way too many games where just one of those just swept the whole match down easy-peesy.
