To Me, My X-Men
So fun story
I work at a cool museum, and one of the newest little attractions we just opened up for the year is for the fall frenzy snow globe, which is a massive plastic snowglobe that has scarves flying around powered by four fans. Pretty simple, up to 6/7 kids can go in at a time and have a blast, provided you tell them the rules. I sometimes have to run it, and today I had another coworker helping me (thank goodness). But the thing is, usually it's not too busy at the museum, save for the school groups that come on field trips ever week from around the state.
There were 900 kids in the museum, and it felt like half of them wanted to go into the globe. They all ended up sitting down around the globe waiting while chaperones organized them into groups of 6/7, and everything was going relatively smoothly in the way that organized chaos can be. I ended up going on my break, and when I come back everything is worse - apparently chaperones from different schools had gotten into arguments on who was where and who got to go first that security was called and the security guy had to help overlook the line. Fortunately everyone left by 1, but I'm still absolutely wiped from the day. Line control, especially with a bunch of kids, is annoying lol
