Most of the time spoilers don't bother me, but I think the only thing I wish I hadn't spoiled was the ending of Earthbound.

Normally i wouldn't mind either but I really just want to go into these games with as few spoilers as possible.

I haven’t played a Pokémon game since Gen 4, so I’m right there with you. I’d rather go into Sword/Shield without any spoilers. I miss the feeling of experiencing a region for the first time. I’m looking forward to it.

Yeah even with the spoilers I've been exposed to I'm still really looking forward to it. Though any spoilers do bum me out a tad.

What’s most unique about the mainline Pokémon games is that the journey is different for every player. The beginning and ending may be the same, but the meat of it is curated by you. So, spoilers for Pokémon games (while they may suck) don’t mean much in the grand scheme of things.

Definitely, but one of the things I really look forward to with new games is discovering stuff on my own. So every time a new pokemon or bit of information gets spoiled to me it takes away from that.
