Nah, it was definitely the lack of using windowed mode, although there were a few framerate issues back when I was using my old cards.

Unfortunately, most people have moved on from BF4 and my old Origin account doesn't work anymore (bloody EA games). But yeah, I don't think I'd ever buy another EA game. I don't trust Origin after what it did.
