Short Story Contest: Six Months Later
You open your eyes and find yourself face to face with Arceus.

“You gave so much to save so many.” Arceus says, “I wish I could return you to your world, however that isn’t possible. However you understood that when you gave your life for this cause”

“So what I can offer you is this.”

“There is a world, much like your own, with one difference being that these horrible events never took place. If you desire, you can live the life of yourself there.”

“Or you can work alongside Chime, as a Guardian of the Dimensions, to help prevent catastrophes like this from happening again.”

“The choice is yours. You have earned it.”


I couldn't have all the fun! There is one last thing to finish this story. That is your happy ending.

I want you to write about your character six months later.

If your character is one that gave their life to save Hoenn, then you can either have them wake up in the new timeline (the New Kanto timeline) where the Shadow Crisis never happened, and your character gets to live a peaceful life (should they choose to), or to work with Chime at protecting the Multiverse.

If your character survived Perish Song, write about Hoenn six months later. How it is rebuilding, and whether those who sacrificed everything are remembered or forgotten. (This means if you joined GCEA in the early days of PXR, and feel like a trip down memory lane, this is your chance.)
