Give yourself some time to grow and learn, even if they won't." Amy reached over and pat Sophie's shoulder. "And I'll try to help where I can. I have some good stories of friends of mine who are good leaders." She chuckled and added, "You'll get to hear about people other than my girlfriend for once."

Amy looked up as her stack of pancakes was brought to her. "Aw yis. Ian can't keep me on a diet now if she's not around to patronize me." She giggled to herself before pouring some syrup on them.
