As the dragon landed and mega evolved, Amy’s blood ran cold. Fear caused her heart to seize up and she grabbed her chest in pain as it became harder to breathe. Crap first Neith had a panic attack and now she was having one. The one time she didn’t have her medication around to calm her nerves. It was still in the drawer on her nightstand if she had to guess. Amy began to gasp for air, unable to breathe as the memories of megas destroying entire cities on the news ran rampant in her mind. She heard Palila shout something along the lines of this thing being unbeatable and she was probably right. How could she beat it if she couldn’t even look at it without suffocating.

Just then, two of her pokeballs burst open, Terry and Hunter appearing at her side. They offered their hands/flippers to her, confident expressions on their faces. “You think we can do this?” Amy wheezed. The two water types looked at each and then Martini. There was a collective shaking of heads. “Then why?” They stared at Amy in silence and she suddenly got it. “Right, we don’t have a choice. Okay.”

Taking the appendages outstretched to her, Amy continued to wheeze as she stood up. Calling out the rest of her team, Amy stepped forward. “We may not be able to win, but we at least have to try. Together maybe we can weaken it enough to enable our escape. It’s the only shot we’ve got.” She looked at her teammates and nodded to them. Hunter nodded back before charging in, the rest of her team following.

She looked at the others and pumped her fists. Despite visibly shaking all over and still wheezing, “Okay guys! I’ve done some damage! It’s up to you to do the rest!”
