"So two dozen, blank trainer ID cards. I'll see what I can do. Let me think this through."
Matthias sat down to think with and started drawing in the dirt. The main shape was clearly the outline of a Pokemon Center. But the other shapes and symbols, could have meant anything to casual passersby.
"Wartortle!" said instinct, picking up a stick and adding wartortle shape to the drawing and an arrow pointing to the back of the center.
"Yeah but who will be lookout and getaway?"Matthias asked.
"Monferno! Mon Mon Monferno!" Kid piped in.
"That could work, but you need to be inconspicuous! This only works if no-one knows we have been there!
Matthias grabbed a pile of leaves and placed them in the center of the Pokemon center drawing. "These are our targets. We need to find a way to get them out without anyone noticing..."
The leaves he had placed were gone. He hadn't seen them go what had happened.
"Rak rak rak" laughed a quiet voice from behind Matthias.
Matthias turned to see Trapeze holding the leaves he had just placed. The little spinarak was a natural at stealthy retrievals it seemed.
"The only cameras in the Pokemon Center Lobby are here and here..." Matthias said, remembering his last visit to Jubilife.
"OK, so the plan is Instinct, Kid and I get up in the middle of the night and make our way to the vending machine to get food. Kid will pretend to notice this camera and climb up to look at it, blocking its vision. Make sure to look really cute and innocent. That will block the second camera from seeing Trapeze. Trapeze when you see the opportunity you grab the cards and get them to me."
"All right Sophie we have a plan!"
(Note from Desolate Divine:
Sorry to edit on you Brettles. There was gonna be a clash of time and continuity and the quickest way forward was to adjust the post. Tried to retain the core of it whilst it worked with the story. )
