Rose had already been awake in her sleeping bag for several minutes when she began to smell food.

After everyone had eaten breakfast, Morty talked to the group about the gym leader, Sloane. Alice raised a good point. Would it even count if they challenged a gym in this timeline, then went back to their own? Worst case scenario though, if she could beat this gym now, she could do it again whenever they went back. The more immediate concern was how she was going to beat the gym. The Pokemon she had on her were not ideal for taking on a dark type gym.

Rose felt a bit nervous to split up, but she knew she had to stop relying on Meghan so much. She also realized that with everything constantly going wrong, she hadn't had the chance to talk to Kyo as much as she would have liked to, so having some time with her would be a good thing.

"So... Where do you want to go first?" Rose asked Kyo, unsure of where to start. "We could... maybe take a look at the department store?" she suggested. Rose was completely fine with going wherever Kyo wanted. As the pair headed east, Rose noticed a trainer that seemed to be looking for help.

"We should see what's wrong." Rose said to Kyo, a bit nervous to approach the distressed trainer.
