Damn it took 3 years for an egg to hatch??

It had all happened so fast. Fighting, psychic energy, running for your lives and it lead you to this point. Standing outside the van getting your pokemon back. The man shuffling you around is a gym leader named Morty. Though you don't know this man, he knows you and he has been waiting for the right moment to make his move to help you.

Morty looked at the group as they shuffled into the van. Once everyone was in he could properly respond to Kyo.
" Ms Writer, I have taken the proper precautions needed to get us out of here in a speedily and safe manner. Furthermore, Gengar here has taken out the guards and left us an open gate."

Once everyone was strapped in they took off quickly while they had the time. It wouldn't be to long before Team Rocket was back on its feet and tracking them down.

" Right now I'm going to talk at you, you can ask me questions after but we need to get a few things clear. My name is Morty and I'm from Ecruteak City, Johto. I'm one of the gym leaders there specializing in ghost types. I am not a skilled psychic by any means but dealing with ghost types has given me a sixth sense of sorts. Trying to communicate with those lost to us has always been a passion of mine. That being said a week ago, I had a vision of my old friend Max and that he was calling out for help. The vision was unclear but what I do remember in detail was me helping guide you to all out of this and helping you prepare for whats next. We are heading to Celadon City where we will connect with a friend of mine. After the president's announcement and what just happened at the vault, everyone is going to be looking for you. "


Around 2 pm the van reached the city limits of Celadon City. Morty stuck to driving through the alleyways until he reached the back of an inconspicuous building where he shuffled the team to safety up the back stairway. To a large apartment that was set up like an office with computers and maps all over. Inside there was a kitchen, bathroom and a couple of bedrooms.


Before the team could even settle in. All at once the eggs they had been carrying the whole time started to hatch.

This was all alot to take in. When Morty told them who he was she recognized the name. How a gym leader ended up here threw her off but he quickly explained that he had, had a vision of Max who asked him to come here. Hearing that made all of this nightmare slightly better. Maybe Max could finally be okay and dredd was gone. Meghan hadnt heard the President speak so she didnt know about their deaths.

" If you spoke to Max. Maybe that means something we did saved him. Maybe that means Dredd is gone." She said hoping that this craziness was something they could clear up.

The team arrived at a place that Morty seemed to feel was safe and Meghan trusted him enough to follow along. She was relieved to find the place was secure. When Meghans bag started to shake she was a little thrown off. She had almost completely forgotten about the egg!
