Kyo let her Meowstic rest on her shoulder as she walked through the city. It was weird to move through such a large city completely unnoticed, but in a way also comforting to know they wouldn't be in danger during this little shopping spree. As Kyo looked through the store, it felt weird to put on clothes that weren't a rocket uniform. She hadn't been in normal clothes in a long time, not since she joined this group at least. She wondered what the others would think about her in different clothes. Grabbing a shirt, a jacket, some jeans, boots, and a scarf, Kyo went into a changing room and put on the new outfit. It took a few tries but she finally found a combo she liked. As she was examining herself in the mirror, Kyo ran her fingers through her hair. She paused to look at it. She knew what she had to do next.

At the stylist, Kyo asked for all the hair to be cut off. It was long and she wanted a change. She wanted something less laborious to care for. So she opted for a faux hawk. It took a while for the stylist to get through all her hair, but eventually it was gone and only the faux hawk remained. It felt different, but in a good way. She liked it.

As Kyo waited for the others to finish, Meg ran up to her and asked how she looked. Kyo looked Meg up and down before smiling. "You look different. But in a good way. I like it. You look very pretty." Kyo put her hands on her hips and said, "What do you think about my new look? Not too jarring of a change right?" She chuckled at Meg's compliment and said, "Thanks. Come on let's get back to the others."

As she laid her head down in bed, Kyo wondered what the next day would have in store for them. Who was this Sloane? Would she be of any use to them? Would she even bother to help them? Guess they would only find out once she met her. Though Kyo felt like somewhere in a distant time and place perhaps they had met once before. Given all this universe jumping shenanigans, Kyo wouldn't say it was out of the realm of possibility.
