For Amy the battle was a breeze. Confident in her water type pokemon, she opted to take the more challenging of the two options. Hunter was able to solo most of the gym, the double weaknesses of Geodude, Onix, and Larvitar making them all easy prey for him. Unfortunately, however, by the time they reached Cranidos, Hunter was all out of energy and had to be swapped out for Terry. Fortunately, Terry was rip raring and ready to go, able to one shot the Cranidos with a well placed bubble. As Amy returned Hunter to his pokeball and lifted Terry to her shoulder, she smiled, some of her confidence as a trainer starting to return.
