Renny walked into the gym. He watched a couple of battles recording some stock footage. He didn't pay attention to the other trainers just the moves effectiveness. Once it was his turn he calmly set up his big camera in the bleachers. On the opposite end, he had Arnny record with his small camera. He set this all while the leader was waiting for him.

Once he was read he found a good position to focus the good camera.

" Can this lighting be changed." He said concerned about whitewash.

Once he didn't get an answer he just adjusted manually and then found his place on the field.

" I only know who you are because of a pamphlet in the lobby. It would seem like this is a second career choice which may explain why you have lost a couple of times today. I have to say I don't understand the logic of only using one pokemon type. Outside of your city there are shinxs that would surly give you an advantage over any trainers using water types. It really just puts you at a disadvantage. I hope to exploit that here today. No matter what the outcome this footage will be used to highlight what I hope is a decent first gym battle on behalf and a strong showing on yours."

After the battle, Renny had only lost one pokemon to the battle. Sadly he had evolved his start. This training sat heavy on him. Popplio had been the right size and height for filming. He would need to adjust the storyboards.

Looking at the leader.
"It's like a said. One Water-type can take out most of your pokemon. Your Carnidos only survived by my calculation by a mere breath of air."

Renny fixed his glasses
" One pokemon at Val's strength simply shouldn't be able to do that. The gym should consider auditions"
