The sandstorm swept through the area adding confusion to the chaos. Knuckles knew immediately the sandstorm had to be Oberon but couldn't do anything to escape. Pat was stuck in a similar situation, she was scoped up by the cops quickly during the storm. Luke and Isaac appeared to be the only lucky members of the team the veil of sand left them a clear exit, neither of them hesitated to take it. Palila not wanting trouble called back her partner and surrendered. The cop put away his gun and handcuffed her. Three of the undercovers took Knuckles, Pat and Palila back towards the city to be booked. The fouth stayed behind to keep running surveillance (not realizing yet the van was useless)


Heading west the cops finally cleared the sandstorm with their three detainees in tow.

" When someone asks for an ID. Normal people don't start running or fist fighting." The officer who got hit growled

" We got you three on assault, an attempted assault, threatening officers, attempting to use pokemon to harm officers. My guess is will also be able to get you three on false identification which means you are Galactic Trash." The lead cop growled

Knuckles lead to a holding cell and he was chained to the floor. Pat and Palila meanwhile and with much less force were placed in the cell next to him with no chains on.

"This might take a while get comfortable."

The sandstorm could only last so long.
" Creed you and Oliver check to see if anyone made it out of there." He commanded Lycanroc to check the area.

After the rock type vanished into the storm, Casper the Pidove who had been released to keep and eye signaled a trainer approaching and Oberon quickly made his way over to meet Isaac. Oberon was a little surprised to see Isaac but he was a slippery one.

" Commander?" he said fully aware of whatever bs Isaac was trying to pull.

" Cut the crap, none of that matters right now. You made it out of there and we need to move. I'm going to give Lycanroc a minute to check for others and then we gotta go. " He said pausing

Oberon was slightly frustrated with this. Knuckles and the girls had caused a real mess that would inevitably get back to the admins. He had made a point to keep his record clean.

" My best friend is a real genius." He said a little annoyed

Lycanroc and Oliver made their way through the sandstorm with ease sniffing out Luke. The big rock type approached the unsuspecting trainer who at first might have been caught off guard. However, the rare shiny cat type was one of kind in the area. The two led Luke through the storm to Oberon's location. Once Luke was with them Oberon and his pokemon lead the two trainers east out of the storm. Once they were at a good distance from the area and the sandstorm had died down Oberon found a safe spot to chat.

" You two were the only ones to walk away from that mess. Knuckles, Pat and Palila will be taken back for Floaroma Town and held there. Which is good for all parties concerned. I didn't go back because we have a code. Unless its life or death we keep moving towards our mission. Knuckles has been locked up before he will be locked up again. You don't get sent to juvi as often as he did without getting use to being locked up. The reason we need to hurry though is that we need to check in with the admins for a mission update. They also have connections in the police station that should buy us time to get break the others out before they realize Pat and Palila are not from here. Any questions ?"

Somewhere along the line Luke and Isaac had gotten separated. Luke could barely make out what was going on through the sandstorm, but from what he could tell, the other three had gotten arrested. He felt a bit bad for ditching them, but there was nothing he could do to help. He wasn't going to risk getting arrested for people he hadn't even known a full day. Luke jumped as he saw a Pokemon approach him before realizing it was one of Oberon's.

"Thank Arceus." He mumbled, annoyed at the whole situation. The rock type led Luke back to Oberon and Isaac. Luke listened impatiently as Oberon explained the situation.

"Those three seem like more of a liability than actual help." Luke commented as Oberon finished talking. "Breaking them out sounds like a lot of effort. Effort that would be wasted if knuckles decides to punch another Police Officer the second he's free. They caused this, why don't we just let them sort it out?" he finished tiredly. Luke knew very well that the others would most likely not be able to break out without any external help, but he didn't care enough to want to help them. Luke also knew though that Oberon would most likely not give him much choice in the matter.

(Shurikan and Truly both of you have gotten to the point where your inactivity or advanced warning about why you might be inactivity has caused a strain to the story. Luke, Issac and Oberon continued walking until they reached the Vally Windworks.




The Windworks was a multi building complex. Though some law enforcement agencies had suspected criminal activity they simply couldnt prove what Isaac and Luke were about to find out. The Windworks had been infiltrated by Team Galactic and the operation was much bigger than a simple take over. As the three trainers approached the complex they were stopped by Galactic Members dressed like machine operators.



"Stop right there kids. This private property." The grunt said


" I suggest you turn around now before we inform the authorities."


Oberon stayed calm taking a step closer. He slowly rolled up the sleeve of his shirt flashing the Galactic badge. Realizing there had been cameras still hidden he played it cool.

" There must be a MIX up we are students here to take a tour. I can assure you that if you check with your bosses they will clear myself and my friends. Im Oberon by the way." he smiled

He reached into his pocket and pulled out his comb to fix his hair. The dust and silt in the air had caused a real mess.

The two grunts checked and a moment later escorted the three trainers in. They were taken through the complex to waiting while they waited. A few minutes past before a person appeared. As Venus walked in Oberon stood up.


" At ease Oberon. I am not your precious Mars Im not as strict about the formalities. I am curious though why you are here and who these trainers with are."

Oberon looked at Venus with a slight bit of disdain.
" Hello ADMIN Venus." He said sarcastically

" I am here because I was instructed to come here and deliver tech. I didnt realize you would be here." he said looking around

" These two are brand new recruits and I need to get them trainer cards and new IDs asap. I also need to get them access to the PC and our network."


She walked close looking over the trainers
" How do you know we can trust them?" She look paused looking at Isaac.

"This one has a weaselly way about him. But this one." She said looking at Luke.

"He could easily just be one of the cops."

Oberon took a moment before responding.
" You have real keen eye. Isaac here is an opportunist who looks out for himself. He is perfect for Team Galactic." he joked

" Luke isnt a cop. Until they are falling through wormholes in space now. "


Venus wasnt pleased with his response.
" Always the charming one. I suppose though if you had stopped trying to be so charming and take things more seriously you would have gotten the promotion over me. To bad will never know." She joked trying to get under his skin.

" And be forced to dress like a fan of crappy space movies from the 60s. Nah I think Im fine with being an agent."

" So .."He continued

" I also need another favor. Knuckles got himself pinched...again." He said with less confidence.

Venus laughed, she was a petty trainer who didnt like Oberon or Knuckles very much. It was a good thing Knuckles wasnt here for this. The two trainers hated each other.

" Why you stay loyal to that brainless Throh has always confused me. If you ask nicely I will get your guard dog out of lock up but you know the others are not going to be pleased that oaf is drawing unnecessary attention to our operation."


" Knuckles is will to risk it all, to get his hands dirty. If you can earn his trust he wont ever stop fighting for you." Oberon said defending him

" Unlike some people money wont buy him or fear of how he looks won't stop him. Its a gift and a curse."


After a hostile exchange of words back and forth Venus agreed and told the trainers she would help them out. She excused herself. At around 1:15 she came back with the trainer cards and fake ids. She had pictures taken of Isaac and Luke for the ids. She also made a call to the police station.

"You two will be on a probationary period." She said handing over the trainer cards and poketech devices. She also gave them each flash drives.
"Those will give you access to our pokemon network. You can find most pokemon there."

" It turns out your friends are wanted in another area so they will be transported there. But their paperwork will get lost in transit. They will be here soon."

Knuckles, Pat and Palila waite for a half an hour before any word came in. Their conversation was cut short as a police officer walked over.

" It looks like you three are being transferred Eterna City for questioning on a recent string of crimes. Cant say Im shocked. How you three have worked together though is a bit of mystery. You are three of the sloppiest criminals I have ever come across and Im glad to be getting you out of my town."

The cops then loaded the three into the back of a van. As the van headed towards Eterna without warning a tire went flat. They could here the officers get out to check and the sound of two thuds could be heard. The van doors flung open.



"Well it looks like we caught ourselves a van full of twerps" The grunt laughed


" Why are we saving these trainers ?"


"Oh hell, thats Knuckles!" the 3rd grunts said


" The pit fight guy?" the first one said freezing

The second nodded.
" Ive seen him fight before, he is one of us."

The third grunt got on the van and picked the locks.
" We were instructed to escort you guys to Valley Windworks. We have to hurry."


The trainers were free it was up to them now. Did they follow or take off ?

(Well the great gming is about to happen. First bad Lychee second Truly your pokemon were taken. all the pokemon were taken. No pokemon was passed out Lychee. if you need an unlock let me know. Good Grief. Were removing the whole grunts stopping you from sending out a spotter pokemon part.)

Immediately after getting off the bus the team was confronted by the grunts. Before ANYTHING could be done. The lead grunt handed back the pokeballs of the trainers that had been held in the front seat.

" I dont know whose is whose but you all need your pokemon." The lead grunt said handing all the pokeballs to Knuckles to pass out.

After passing them out. The 3rd grunt who had see Knuckles fight approached.



"Sorry sir. I mean sir Knuckles. Maybe will run into a couple of marks on the way to the windworks and you can do your crosschop." the 3rd grunt said.

The other two looked at him shaking their heads.


" Enough with the chit chat. We are need to move."


" You two, control yourselves." The second said to Pat and Palila.

The team headed directly to the Windworks where they approached the huge complex and were greeted by Galactic Grunts dressed like utility works. It seemed the default disguise were all the same here. Once they reached the gates they were escorted into the large room that Luke, Isaac and Oberon were waiting in. Oberon let out a disappointed sigh.

"REAL SMOOTH," He said looking at Knuckles specifically.

"That whole thing was a real S*** Show." He said then turning to Palila

" When someone tells you a plan to get around cops you dont go marching in front of them and blab it out. Im surprised Knuckles didnt put you on your a**." He turned to Pat.

" What were you thinking?" He questioned

Oberon was only slightly annoyed when he questioned them. He felt more so confused at how that thing could have gone south so quickly.

Luke followed Oberon's lead as they approached the Windworks. He remained quiet as Oberon spoke to the disguised grunts waiting out front. After they were inside, they were greeted by an admin. After Oberon began explaining the situation, Venus accused Luke of being a cop.

"Me? A cop?" Luke responded in a tone as if he had just been told a bad joke. "That's a job you couldn't pay me enough to do. Too much work." he continued tiredly. "I just want to get home, and you guys seem like the best way to do that right now." He explained. After Oberon had asked about freeing the other trainers, Venus left for a while. Isaac and Luke's pictures were taken, and soon Venus came back with fake IDs.

"Zack Ward?" Luke thought, reading the name on his fake ID. "That works." He pulled his old ID out of his wallet and inserted the new fake one.

Soon the captured trainers were brought in. Luke looked at them disapprovingly, but would never criticize them out loud when Knuckles was within earshot, so he stood off to the side passive aggressively while Knuckles and Oberon bickered. When he saw Palila however, he remembered the pokeballs she had passed out.

"Oh yea. What was this for?" Luke questioned, holding up the pokeball Palila had given him. "I don't even know your name."

" Your temper has bad timing Knucks. You guys caused a scene right outside of a major operation. Venus is in control here and she would love nothing better than to report back of our failure." Oberon said casually

Turning his attention to Rae
" Youre kind of a distraction huh? Im going to need you to tone down the pay attention to me vibe you got going on. You appear to like the sound of your own voice more than listening to what others are saying. Since you're going to be joining us you need to learn to listen first. " He paused

"Otherwise you'll miss all Knuckles funny jokes."

"Oh and next time you completely destroy a mission because you act like a fool before thinking, Knuckles is probably going to crush you." He shrugged

Looking at the others.
"Well kids, today's brownie points go to Isaac and Luke. The rest of you should learn from them. [I]Panicked buffoonery [/I] will destroy 100 percent of all of our missions if you cant learn to think before you act. "

It took until 3 for everything to finally get cleared up.
(Trainers now have access to Black Market )


With all the trainers now having received new ids and access to the pokemon terminals. Venus's grunts escorted the trainers to a room with access to the Pokemon PC.


Oberon passed out the flash drives showing them how to access it.
