The girl introduced herself as 'Rae', which he presumed was a nickname. Knuckles replied "Rae huh... I assume that is a nickname right? And yes I am Knuckles, and my friend is Oberon. He is a good leader, and you will respect his authority, or we will have problems. His job to give the orders, your job is to follow them, and my job is to make sure you follow them or else, as well as handle any aggressive enemies we may come across."

After a few moments, the 3rd grunt who had recognized him, came up to him and apologized for not saving him one. Knuckles could sense the guy was definitely intimidated by him, so he decided to mess with him a bit "I hope we come across someone I can beat on the way too, or I will have to take all my frustration out on the closest grunt to me!" here he let out a chuckle as one of the other guards handed him the pokeballs they had recovered from the front seat. Knuckles found Intimidator's Pokeball right away and released him. He also found Destroyer's easily, as it was one of the few that was in a normal Pokeball. He clipped it to his belt and then checked the remaining Pokeballs by pressing the button to turn them clear.

Once he distributed everyone's Pokemon back to them, they set off for the windworks. Once they got there, Oberon gave him the evil stare and yelled at him "REAL SMOOTH", Knuckles immediately went on the defensive "Hey don't look at me... this one wasn't my fault! I followed orders, it was this one that made it go south" Here he pointed at Pat "If she had kept her damn trap shut and not charged at Undercover Popos like an idiot, everything would have been fine. Now I own punching that cop and admit it wasn't smart, but things were already out of control when I did that... and you know how I get in tense situations!"

Beside him, Intimidator stood nodding his head in agreement to everything his trainer said, the Machop also staring down Pat with mean looks all the while.
