Hrm, that would imply heightened defensive stats: A very very tiny pebble hits for around 290 or so, but a piece of flaming wool that got shot out with an explosion typically does around 340, considering average defense. If you got hit for 290 or so, that would imply either a VIM gauge that naturally rests at or above 17000, or a naturally high DEF growth with average VIM. Or a defensive class.
