I was trying to EV train and I found a shiny Shelmet! Out of no where!

I never was really good at hunting shinies until chain fishing came out, but it got me "hooked" (I hate myself) and now I'm a fiend about it.

So, I've had an eventful Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. :3

On Thursday:
Mom encountered a Shiny Murkrow, caught it, and gave it to me. I felt bad because she's been finding so many shinies and giving them to me so I go out to try for Shiny Relicanth again. That same evening I found Shiny Clawitzer and went to bed. :3

On Friday:
I turned my game on determined to catch Shiny Relicanth - 10 minutes later, I caught it! I thought my luck was great so the hunt for Shiny Chinchou was on. Guess what? Caught Shiny Chinchou right away. When my mom came home from dropping my siblings off we both decided to have a competition to catch as many Horde Shinies as we could. Our first goal? Mareep. 20 minutes in my mom caught herself a Shiny Mareep. We traveled around then, almost at the same time, I caught a Shiny Zangoose and she caught a Shiny Seviper. Finally, my mom finished it off with catching a Shiny Nosepass on accident and handing it to me. We were actually going to hunt for Shiny Stunky and she entered the wrong route, used Sweet Scent, and first encounter was the Shiny Nosepass. Her luck. :P

On Saturday:
I had to breed some Pokemon for a friend of mine which included Cyndaquil, Slakoth, and a Female Chikorita. I did the first two with ease. The Female Chikorita took about 30-36 Pokemon. On the last batch I hatched the Female Chikorita and, since I had about two eggs left, I decided to hatch them there. First egg was a Shiny Male Chikorita. :'O I ACCIDENTLY Masuda Method'ed. I was so happy. :'D

On Sunday:
My mom went to EV train/look for a Shiny Hoppip/Roselia for me and herself and right as she entered the grass, not only 5 minutes in, she found a Shiny Psyduck and gave it to me. :D Afterwards, her and my brother decided to Chain Fish (both have never done it successfully, let alone, my brother has not found a Shiny in the wild except Shiny Gyarados in Platinum and soft resetted for a Shiny Giratina). My mom got to chain 10 and found herself a Shiny Relicanth and freaked out. XD So, now she has two. :3 Soon after, my brother found his first Shiny in Y. A Shiny Magikarp... XD He loves it. Soon after my mom caught a Shiny Magikarp too - 'cause, Wynaut.

In all, we've had a very interesting time Shiny Hunting. :3

Dark Void is a multi targeting move that puts everything to sleep. It's Darkrai's signature move. Also I have a shiny Darkrai.

This is absolutely insane. Your family has some great luck! My cousin and I had random encounter shinys the 1st day we got the game (weedle and caterpie lol). Since then she found 2 shinys chain fishing ,but ran from a poliwag because she wasnt paying attention. Since then she's spent 30+ hours in the freind safari and has still not found a shiny. I guess her luck is just awful. I rarely shiny hunt but I have quite a few from trading and matsuda methoded one the other day in less than a box, when she has hatched around 10 boxes full without getting one.
