It would be cool for us to have our own Showdown tournament, that is kind of a regular thing like how they do on the other forums. Even if we are a bit...small? atm.

Well, the first tournament will be a Random Tournament, so the only thing you will need is partial luck and a lot of type knowledge. And hope you don't get bad Pokemon. That is if you join.


I want to do an annual tournament where the format changes every year. Like say, the first year we start of with SS OU and then switch to SM next year. Or have it like smogon and do Gen 8, 7, and 6 for the span of a couple weeks. But, we are a little small for that.

I was almost broke after grad school. $60K in tuition was brutal and I barely pulled it off without going into debt.

I just got people little fun gifts. If you're good at creating stuff, homemade gifts are a possible option.

Best we've got are scholarships and FAFSA. It covers some of the cost, but not everything. For my grad school, I had to play everything out of pocket, though sometimes if you're an employee, a company may give you some tuition allowance.

So yeah, the costs are still pretty high, but there are a few ways to bring it down.
