Well the good news is they seem to have figured out what it is. Or at least be on track to do so.

The bad news is, they're pretty sure it's pneumonia. I'll be doing a CT scan next week to confirm it, but based on the chest x-rays from yesterday, I definitely have it in my upper right lung and I have some in my left lung too. Wheeee. Using up my sick days from work already haha.

Bleh, I don't think I've ever had that, but it sounds just awful...

At least they know what's going on. Not sure how tough it is or how long it usually takes to cure it, though. Still, identifying the problem is the first step toward kicking it in the butt. All the best in kicking its butt!

Yeah I'm already starting to feel a bit better with all the meds, and my dad actually flew up to help me take care of myself. Work's being very gracious too which is nice.

Yeah it's super nice and been super helpful because especially the first two days he was here, I didn't feel well enough to even stand let alone cook. But he's gone and gotten me groceries and helped me with my meds or when I've gotten sick. It's been really nice.

Yeah, I know for sure shopping while being sick is extremely tough, and not only that, but you don't want anyone else to get sick, either.

The nearest stores are also really far away so having someone spare me from that walk in general is a relief but especially when I’m sick. I nearly passed out when I did it a few weeks ago because of how hot it was and how sick I was.

Yeah, I've had to drive with fevers and that's not a whole lot of fun, either. Your sense of judgment and perception gets a bit screwed up and you're half-wondering if you'll even make it home.

Shopping definitely involves a lot of walking and you've got to be standing and reaching quite a bit. If all you want to be doing is sleeping, yeah, good luck trying to do that. And if you're getting a lot of stuff, lifting heavy bags of groceries and putting that stuff away is going to be a drudgery. XP

Hopefully by now you're doing better. :3

That is really good to hear, I am glad that there are good places to work also. My boss would have just told me to rest and then get back to work when i am better, that man was blunt, but still amazing.

My health is still bleh but I'm at least somewhat better than I was.
