Yeah, they tend to have so many medical issues and it very often sounds like they're struggling to breathe...

Moreover, I just feel there's so many other dog breeds out there that are great and don't have that kind of issue. I have a liking toward German Shepherds, Huskies, and Welsh Corgis, but on the other hand, dogs are a bit of a commitment as well in terms of time, attention, and money.

Yeah there are! I love huskies and so does my dog (they're her favorite dogs to play with XD). And yeah, I would love to have a second dog but (vet stuff especially) is expensive. :c

Huskies and shepherds can be a lot of work, speaking as someone who owns the latter. They’re working dogs so they require a lot of exercise otherwise they can become bored and destructive. Still amazing companions to have. I wouldn’t trade Kenzi for anything in the world right now.

Corgis are great and I’ve considered getting one but I’ve heard they have their own host of health issues. Apparently they’re prone to hip and back injuries as well as epilepsy amongst other things. Still very adorable dogs tho, and definitely still considering getting one. Either that or maybe a Shiba Inu or an Italian Greyhound.

yeah my mom has a Husky and it's a hassle....lot of hair floating around.

Yeah, I think that's the tough part about keeping most pets. The fur and hairs that get everywhere...

Still, even pets that don't have that can still be work. I remember having to clean out aquariums, that ain't a fun job either. xD
