It just got thinking was all. Especially ones others treat like house pets. Pikachu, Meowth, Purrloin, Growlithe/Arcanine, etc. must be tough.

Have they shown (in games/anime) how people deal with Pokemon fur? Closest I've seen is Ash's Rowlet shedding feathers as a pseudo-Substitute, but that's for battling purposes instead of domestic scenarios.

I haven't watched much of the anime since S2, but I think there have been some episodes where they show Pokemon grooming. I think there was even an episode where you see Ash giving Pikachu a bath.

To be fair, scyther are shown to enjoy water in the anime but also...I don't imagine it would be easy to bathe one that wasn't in the mood for it. XD
