I found a shiny Teddiursa in PLA, full odds and all
Too bad it fled and I haven't had the realization I could save before trying yet

For me, usually the shiny I encounter is very low-level, and I'm walking around with a team of level 60+ Pokemon that would vaporize it even if they so much as make a face at it. xD
I'm not big into shiny hunting mainly for the reason that the alternate colors seem a bit odd 9 out of 10 times. It looks good for some Pokemon (like black Charizard and gray Eevee), doesn't seem to make too much difference for most (Pikachu, Emolga), but others its really odd, like pinky shiny Lugia or pinky shiny Lopunny). That, and it just seems like it would be a really tedious thing to do.
But hey, for the peeps that do like to shiny hunt, it's all good. Have fun and good luck!
I'm personally chill about shinies, minus the first one I got. It was around 2017-2018, and my brother had left me his 3DS and copy of Sun in my care with one simple task: level up some of his weaker Pokémon. Easy task!
And a few Poni Island patches later, BLAM. Shiny Inkay handed to me on a silver platter!
Oh, and the morning after that I found a Goodra in Lush Jungle's Poké Finder place. Needless to say, I was VERY happy.
Avatar(s) and banner(s) made by the excellent Neo Emolga for DBR V2!
I'm chill with shinies too, they're a sweet bonus. I'd love to use my shiny Ponyta on BDiamond but my team's too established by that time.
Yeah once long ago I used to live shiny hunting. Now, it seems like a chore for me. XD
The time is upon us...
. Pika Pair with the yellow bundle of fluff Chibi Altaria..
Heck, if I were to get a shiny Emolga, that would be cool, but I don't want to spend six lifetimes trying to fill out the whole Pokedex with shinies.
Making a Shiny Dex (or just shiny hunting in general) is definitely gonna beef up your game's playtime lmao
I use playtime as a measurement to see how worth it the game is. For a 60usd game I expect 60 hours lol
Pokemon Snap only had 10 hours for me, so I sold it away
Pokemon Snap was fun for a little while, but I found the novelty kind of wearing off after a while. Definitely not a bad game, though, but I feel as though the replay value is kind of on the slim side.
Yeah, Pokemon Snap is a good game, those graphics are top-notch, but it's not the genre for me. I'm surprised it's actually a puzzle game, searching for combinations that will make rarer Pokemon appear. Sadly, I don't have that much brain cells to deal with those lol
Yeah, me neither. There's been times I've done the same course four or five times over trying to figure out what randomish thing they want me to do before just Googling it, rolling my eyes at what was expected, doing it, getting the new course, rinse and repeat.
And yeah, please, either have full voice acting or no voice acting, but this business of having the characters go "oh!" "hmm" "hey!" "wow" "so..." instead of talking out the full dialogue lines out does drive me stir crazy.
