Meanwhile, crazy how it's almost March already. I feel like we only just started 2022. :P
Thing is now at work we've got the long marathon where we don't get any company holidays until Memorial Day (May 30th). Meanwhile, it always feels brutal to take days off from work. For me, the stuff just piles up while I'm gone and it doesn't feel like anyone covers for me while I'm out. Even taking Thanksgiving week off last year, a week I thought most people would be off as well, left me with a landfill of email in my inbox.

Yeah, but it does make me miss things like spring break in college and high school. Even though... there was a number of times when "spring break" was really "hey, time to work on a major project or essay assignment over your 'break' because it's due literally the day you come back."
I know these kids that fly down to Miami to party for a week definitely don't go to the same college I did.
