Ok, so first things first. I'll spend my EXP to buy the Macguyver Superpower at LV1

I assume that 'cause of the Babymaker I can't use a Mighty Shield on Dragapult? If it would work then I'll buy a Mighty Shield for my Dragapult line, but if not then just ignore this line.

So, another question: Do items work in babymaker battles? If so then I'll also buy and use a Cheaty Cookie, Brass Balls, and a Mysterious Halo (Mudsdale)

Aglome gone? Don't tell him I said this, but this was way overdue. I don't know who I'll be up against, but I think I'll arm that Cheaty Cookie JUUUUST in case.
Also... I think it's time for a shopping spree.
    Spoiler:
Hopefully I'm doing this right, but let's buy me a Compensator power (Via Coins) and add the following:
    Mareep > Flaaffy > Ampharos
Sheep power! Let's also upgrade Wheel Master (W/ EXP) for the kick of it.
This should leave me with 1 EXP and 10 Coins if my Palpitoad Vigoroth brain did the math right.

Avatar(s) and banner(s) made by the excellent Neo Emolga for DBR V2!

I'll double check with Neo for total confirmation. Since we didn't have something like that clearly stated within the rule set. Since it would block out the "Duel/Challenge" phase. We wil get a confirmation post as to what takes priority for clarity once Neo is able.

Yup! Items are totally free game to use in the Babymaker battles.

Quick question regarding the compensator superpower. When you upgrade from level one to level 2, the level 2 description is "LEVEL 2 – Add four more stages of Pokémon to your Lineups!" Does this include the three stages that level 1 already gave you? So, if you upgrade from level 1 to level 2, do you get one additional stage, or four additional stages?

Yup, Compensator LVL 2 means "FOUR" additional. Meaning you select another 4 for your backups.

You’re totally clear on MacGyver, Cheaty Cookie, Brass Balls, and Mysterious Halo! Those items work just fine in Babymaker battles. Dang, you totally don’t want to lose Dragapult, do you? ;P

Yeah, because of the way Babymaker works (and the fact you can’t use it on someone that already has Second Wind and/or Mighty Shield), you can’t activate a Mighty Shield in response to being pulled into a Babymaker duel because that really messes things up if the person who wins can’t use the “leave ‘em as a baby” effect.

Yeah, he’s kind of a downer to have around. :P

And sure, we can do that!

It’s four MORE stages, so that means four additional stages to work with! So you could add something like Shaymin (1) and Cyndaquil > Quilava > Typhlosion (3) if you fancy having those! It doesn’t matter what you added from Level 1. C:

MASTER RNG, making paper planes out of dollar bills, pulls in…

CHAKRAMASTER as Pichu and SHRUIKAN as Wynaut to the arena!
    @Chakramaster @Shruikan

    CHAKRAMASTER
    SUPERPOWERS:
SMART COOKIE [LEVEL 2] – Every time you make an attack that would generate a self-damaging result (not very effective/no effect), you have a 66% chance of stopping yourself!
YES, I LIFT, BRO [LEVEL 1] - Your Max HP for each battle is increased by 1!
DECK ENTHUSIAST [LEVEL 1] – The drop rate of the Deck of Many Zings is increased by 25% for you!
ACTIVE BUFFS: SEASON 15: BABYMAKER BATTLE VERSUS SHRUIKAN

    VS

    SHRUIKAN
    SUPERPOWERS:
COMPENSATOR [LEVEL 1] – Add three more stages of Pokémon to your Lineups!
SMART COOKIE [LEVEL 2] - Every time you make an attack that would generate a self-damaging result (not very effective/no effect), you have a 66% chance of stopping yourself!
EPIC EVOLUTION [LEVEL 1] - Add 3 additional Evolution Crystals to your wallet! Also, if you choose to Evolve yourself as a Victory Decision, you can jump multiple stages at once, such as going from Pichu straight to Raichu (still uses up 2 Evolution Crystals) or go from Charmander straight to Mega Charizard X (would use up 3 Evolution Crystals)!

ACTIVE BUFFS: SEASON 15: BABYMAKER BATTLE VERSUS CHAKRAMASTER, CHEATY COOKIE PRIMED, MYSTERIOUS HALO (MUDSDALE) PRIMED, BRASS BALLS PRIMED

The CHEEKY COIN OF CHERRY-FLAVORED BANANAS has declared CHAKRAMASTER strikes first!

    TURN 1
CHAKRAMASTER kicks things off with Acupressure! He gives a stress ball a tight squeeze!
SHRUIKAN uses Belch! But that’s not very polite at the dinner table!

    TURN 2
CHAKRAMASTER uses G-Max Cannonade! He pours lemonade into a cannon barrel!
SHRUIKAN uses Magnetic Flux! But his magnets just get stuck together!

    TURN 3
CHAKRAMASTER uses Jump Kick! But he ends up landing right on his tush!
SHRUIKAN uses Skill Swap! But giving up art doesn’t make him suddenly better at music!

    TURN 4
CHAKRAMASTER uses Magnetic Flux! And his magnets just get stuck in Shruikan’s pile!
SHRUIKAN uses Rototiller! MUDSALE STOMPS IN FOR THE ATTACK AND IT’S A SUPER EFFECTIVE STRIKE ON CHAKRAMASTER! (3/4)

    TURN 5
CHAKRAMASTER uses Razor Wind! But he can’t give the gusts a close shave!
SHRUIKAN uses Aura Sphere! But he’s not able to see where it is!

    TURN 6
CHAKRAMASTER uses Sludge Wave! He waves a greeting to his local sewage treatment plant!
SHRUIKAN uses Mud-Slap! MUDSALE STOMPS IN FOR THE ATTACK AND IT’S A SUPER EFFECTIVE STRIKE ON CHAKRAMASTER! (6/4)

DECK OF MANY ZINGS DROP (50/100) – THE DECK HAS APPEARED!!!

    Dang, that Mudsdale Halo!

Shruikan, you get your 1 EXP and your choice of…

    • Devolve Chakra to Pichu!
    • Leave Chakra as a Pichu with a Pokémon Daycare Center theme!
    • Devolve yourself for Evolution Crystal(s)!
    • Send Chakra to your Wheel!

    And…

Do you draw from the Deck of Many Zings or do you pass it to Chakra?

    What’ll it be!?

Knew that Mudsdale wouldn't let me down! :D Even gave me back the Halo afterwards :P

So I'm gonna leave Chakra as a Daycare Pichu, and also hand over the Deck to him, cause there's less chance of it blowing up in my face if if someone else draws from it.

Also, assuming it's still there after the Deck's effect, I'd like to now buy and use a Mighty Shield for Dragapult, before anyone else can drag me into baby battles.

Ouch that backfired, like a trifecta of punishments for me xD. Maybe more depending on what comes from the Deck.

Yeah Babymaker and Wishier Piece can be real game changers here for the more powerful sets. Probably good to see what gets drawn from Deck first, but assuming it's nothing that affects you, you'd still like the Mighty Shield right?
