Yeah seeing as it's supposed to release later this year....it's been a bit quiet. Wonder when we will see more...hopefully maybe an Explorers DX announced right before it.

Yeah, I'm all for them taking their time with it, though. But a few new Pokemon reveals and some teasers would be nice to see.

Funny thing is I honestly don't know very much about Spain. I wouldn't have guessed it was based off of that if I hadn't heard from other people.

Yeah the trailers didn't look Spain-y to me until people pointed it out. I don't know much about Spain either (even though they colonized us for 333 years lol)

Meanwhile, I'm curious to know if there's going to be new Eeveelutions. It's been a while since Sylveon and I feel like we're due for a few new ones. Although it is fun to see the fan-made ones for all the types that don't have an Eeveelution yet.

However, I read a theory somewhere and it looks like Pokemon is pushing Eevee as a no-evolve mon given Lets Go Eevee and Gigantamax Eevee being unable to evolve. But we'll see what's true someday.

Yeah, they've been definitely pushing that with Pikachu. Which I honestly don't understand, Raichu is a great Pokemon and a lot of people like Raichu over Pikachu. I see no reason why that option needs to be stripped out.

With Pikachu I can understand. Eevee not so much as it seems more to push evolution. Since through evolution it can branch many different ways. I read a rumor the one in the anime is being kept from evolving to hide a new Eeveelution. No confirmation on that though.

MYbe for Pikachu it's the same. Initially Clafairy was supposed to be Ash's companion. But they went with Pikachu cause it appealed better to focus as a mascot. Maybe to them Raichu wouldn't be as fitting for a "mascot" placement. Place a picture of 3 faces together. Mickey Mouse, Pikachu, and Raichu. When focusing for appeal to a kids perspective. I think kids would most recognize Mickey and Pikachu.

Oh yeah, I'm fine with Pikachu being the mascot (yeah, I don't think Clefairy would have gone down as well), but Raichu needs love, too. But yeah, I wouldn't replace Pikachu's mascot status with Raichu, especially when Pokemon has been around for this long already.
