Especially controllers. I still have my original NES and it's just funny how few buttons these controllers have compared to controllers now. You just had a D-pad, Select and Start, and A and B buttons. That's it. No crazy A/B/X/Y, shoulder buttons, trigger buttons in the back, and all kinds of other stuff going on.

And yeah, there were quite a few games back then that could have used those buttons. Instead you had all these crazy combinations of buttons you had to press to perform certain actions. That and VERY few games had in-game tutorials. You had to read the instruction manual to get an understanding of how the game functioned. And good luck getting your hands on those these days! xD
