No, he isn't.
Props for trying, though.
Apoph: Hah.

You do realize he dwarfs us in power, currently? I don't think you'd want to piss him off.
So this rp is still going on huh ;)

Spoiler:
'He' is Taurus, one of the antagonists!
And yes, Max. Alive and going strong. It gets lots of calcium daily.
Apoph: AHEM. Since we're doing my soul quest now, we should think about this logically.
Apoph: Taking on Baal means confronting him in his fortress, which is a HORRID idea, no matter how you think about it. We'd need to lure him out of his own turf, but I doubt he's stupid enough to just blindly accept a challenge, especially from me of all people.
Light Chaos: …What do you have in mind, Apophis-Ra?
Apoph: While they - *APOPH juts his chin towards SIVELOS, ECRIVIAN, TAZZ, and WANDER.* - were sitting on their hands, I've been thinking about it. The only way to get Baal to come to us is to provoke him into a rage. Insult him, for lack of a better term. But he would most likely bring those Cartographers of his. Luckily, he gave the schematic to Sivelos.
*blinks* Huh?
Apoph: Thus, we could fight fire with fire, having our Cartographers keep Baal's busy. But the largest flaw in this plan of mine is that is means making Baal - an extremely powerful Elder Soul - mad. Not the best idea… But it's all I have. For now, at least.
Light Chaos: He also wields the original Acheron.
Apoph: Bluh. Bluuuuh. This is difficult, but I must retake my throne. I usurped Baal for a reason, and yet he insists on being a spoiled brat who wants his bottle back. Hmph.

Do we have a plan then? What would Baal take most insult to?
Apoph: Being called a daemon perhaps? I recall the Author saying that calling a daemon a daemon, as opposed to demon, is very insulting. And it is, being one myself.
Nightmare: I recall that when Sivelos screwed up by calling him just Overlord. His title was Tyrant Overlord, but it seemed to be insulting just to call him Overlord.
Hey, hey, hey! This is all assuming we're strong enough to even lay a finger on Baal, right? Last I checked, Baal didn't even take a positive amount of damage from one of Ecrivain's attacks, as well as launching him out of the current dimension with just a swipe of his great sword. Are you sure you've thought this through?
Apoph: *shrugs* It's the best I can think of.
Guess he is pretty temperamental either way, huh.
Why are you using me as a benchmark for damage when I'm a support class with one of the lowest damage outputs in the team???
You were the only one who had the guts to use an attack.
