I do have a few suggestions (though some you may have already done): griffin, tanuki, manticore, Mongolian death worm, wolpentinger (which is basically a jackalope with wings), the mothman, the flatwoods monster, and the bunyip are all fun cryptids/mythological creatures that Pokemon itself has yet to utilize and would be cool to see as designs.
We actually have done the wolpentinger and we’re working on the mothman one. The wolpentinger is our fire starter. I did the basic sketches for the line that were then refined by my friend which you can see here. It’ll end up as Fire/Fairy for its final stage. My friend is designing the mothman mon but here is that concept.
