This Kalos Pokedex by artist Robbie Nordgren could almost be real.

Swedish artist Robbie Nordgren has been creating something wonderful; he makes 3D artwork of items from video games. Using Photoshop and Autodesk Maya 3D animation software, Robbie has creafted iconic Pokemon items including Pokeballs, regional Pokedexes and gym badges.
He has also created pieces from Zelda, Adventure Time, Warcraft and Half Life. You can see some of his Pokemon work below, and visit his deviantArt page for more.

I checked these out after I saw this post and I could have sworn I posted.

Nonetheless, these models are super-cool and I SERIOUSLY urge you guys to check them out. It just shows you how many times the Pokedex has been redesigned...seriously. In BOTH outer design AND layout.

And the metal textures on the Pokeballs are just astounding.

I'm loving these... Very creative! I think the fact that he's using Maya is pretty awesome. I've used it a bit but could never get the hang of it. Kudos to that dude. :D

Not sure how I feel about metal PokeBalls though. The texture looks really cool but I always imagined them as more of a plastic material than metal (not to mention those things would be heavy!)
