Zenith looked up as Max walked over and spoke to her and Markus about heading back to heal their pokemon and get ready for their gym battles. This was it, the time had come. It was sink or swim. "Yeah, I'm ready to head back. I wanna make sure everyone is in top shape, then we can all take on the gym," she said.

Zenith headed down the path back toward Pewter City and went into the Pokemon Center. She had her pokemon healed up and waited for Max and Markus to do the same, sitting down at one of the tables. The adrenalin was starting to kick in, and she couldn't wait for the battle to be over, whether in a good or bad way.

Max healed up his pokemon. He walked outside to enjoy the cool breeze of the afternoon. He noticed Ethan sitting down and sat on the bench next to him. Max used the time to check his bandages.
" Some of us are going to challenge the gym. " Max said carefully replacing a bandage on his arm.

" It might be a good idea to go and get a practice battle in first."

After some thinking to herself, Virtue made up her mind. "Yeah, I'll take on your challenge!" She said this as getting a Pokeball ready from her arm, grabbing it and holding it in a tense palm. She couldn't hold back on her first battle in Kanto. At least, she believed it was her first one.

@Lightning Dash. 7 days is just the general rule. With this team being smaller and mostly everyone having a water type pokemon all they really need to do is level up Azurill and they can win the gym badge. No event pokemon is a rule we always use because some people have final stage pokemon and that would give them a pretty big advantage on the most basic gym.

As the last of the girl's Pokemon went down, Vi called them all back and put them back in her arm for storage and to head back to the Pokecenter. She smiled at the trainer who beat her. "Good battle. Keep training and I'm sure you'll be great." She said, before sitting back in her wheelchair, thinking about what she was going to do.

Zenith walked out of the Pokemon Center a few minutes later, spotting Max, Ethan and Vi.

"It might be a good idea to go and get a practice battle in first," Max said as he changed the bandages on his arm.

Zenith took a couple of minutes to think about that. A practice battle would be a good idea. The stronger my pokemon are, the better chance I have at winning, she thought.

Vi was then challenged to a battle by another female trainer. The battle lasted for a while, and it was really close, with Vi winning in the end.

"Awesome battle, Vi! Grats on the win!" Zenith said.
