Moon's eyes rested on the one named Roxborough. His last name, that company... something rang a bell. However, a very quiet bell it was, beyond seemingly familiar, no further connection was made. It was slightly frustrating, and the brunette tried to focus for a few moments, hoping a bit more thought could help churn more. Her efforts were met with blankness and a slight headache.

After Rocky finished, the girl that Moon had interacted with earlier gave her introduction. After she finished, Meg promptly headed her way.

"How about this, you tell me a little about yourselves and Ill tell everyone else. I promise ill add in really cool details.."

It wasn't that Moon was shy. She didn't feel afraid or timid; there was something else at play. None the less, she finally spoke up

"Greetings, I am Moon of the Unova region. My goal is to grow stronger and travel the region. A fear of mine is to be held captive..."

Being a Unovan native was one of the few things the young lady knew about her past. Her fear though, the words seemed to come out of her mouth without having been properly processed. They shocked her, and Moon fell silent after that.

Brandon holds his hand out to Max, "I'm Brandon, I am from Sinnoh, I grew up with my Mom in a small peaceful town there. My closest friend was a registered pokemon trainer (he is older then me) and I used to watch his pokemon battle all the time, as well as him battle other trainers. I watched and studied every move he made, so I know what mistakes he made and what he did right. This knowledge should help me become a decent trainer a lot quicker. I am a quick learner, I observe everything, even if you do not think I know your intentions I do, I love books and knowledge and can work as a team player when needed but I also can work [better] alone, I am not scared of any trainer or their pokemon. The only thing I am scared of is having too much power, do not get me wrong, I want to be a strong, well known trainer and champion like everyone else, but I believe too much of such power and prowess can lead a person to become too self convient and ultimatelly lead to failer. I study others and their tactics, but I do things my way and my way only, I am very stubborn like that, while some of those trainers over there may be studying mine others pokemon and tactics so they can spot a weakness or use something to their advantage I simply train my pokemon the best I can as strong as I can and I do it my way, I do not need everyone's weakness to put a great fight or even win. The training will show itself in the end. So now you know me as best as one can. Pleasure to meet you Max and I consider it an honor to go on an adventure with you."

Next to him Skipper jumps around excitedly in agreement "CHAR CHAR!".

When there was silence, I decided it would be good to introduce myself. First impressions were important, and lucky for me I was good with them.

"I'm Ethan Wright." I said confidently, "I grew up in Ecruteak City, Johto, and have completed two of my four years of a Double Degree in Pokemon Mythology and Phsyics at Goldenrod University."

I left a moments pause for anyone to ask questions before continuing.

"When I was young, I had an encounter with a certain legendary Pokemon that stopped me from getting killed by Team Rocket. Ever since then I have been trying to find it and learn more about it." I continued, "I deferred from my third year of university to travel and try and find it. I have been researching it for years, and have done the equivalent of two journeys around Johto with only Circut here. I ended up coming to the conclusion that it must have migrated elsewhere. Though Max, if you don't mind, could we chat later about the Legendary Pokemon you have seen?"

I was slightly conflicted. I didn't want to tell people too much but if I was traveling with these people, I wanted them to trust me. In the end I decided what to say.

"I'm Davis, from Hoenn." I said slightly nervous. What I said next would solidify peoples opinions about me. "I grew up training and learning to fight with Brawley of the Dewford Gym for years. However I ended up getting involve in an illegal fighting ring for the extra money and made a lot of mistake, which ended with me being under house arrest for a solid year."

I paused, wondering what to say next.

"In that year, with the help of some good people, I was able to turn my life around somewhat, and decided to try and make a fresh start elsewhere."

Zenith looked over at Brandon as he spoke, listening. She knew she had to introduce herself now, since several people had done so already. Before she started her introduction, though, she looked at Brandon. "Thanks for complimenting me on my capture of Freefall earlier. I guess I didn't get a chance to thank you then."

Zenith then took a deep breath and slowly exhaled. "Hi everyone," she said loud enough so everyone could hear her. "My name is Zenith Brunel, and I'm from Kalos like Meghan, but my hometown is Lumiose City. I guess something I'm good at is pokemon battling since I had practice battles with my dad when I was younger. He's a Trainer who works for the Pokemon Association. My mom is a retired Top Coordinator. Between them, I learned to really love pokemon. I want to be a strong Trainer like my dad and do what he does; traveling around Kalos and keeping it safe for both people and pokemon."

Zenith took another breath, trying to keep herself composed. She was still intimidated by all of the other people.

"Now Zenith, you wanted to know about the missing pokemon." He said pulling out the list.


With the group moving along the path again a new pokemon could be seen running around.

Rose smiled. As if to respond to Meghan's question, the Chingling let out a ringing noise. "Her name's Amirah." Rose explained. "We've been together for two years now. Since then she's become my best friend. She doesn't battle though. Besides, even if she could, I wouldn't let her."

Rose sensed movement in the bush near her. It was a Pokemon for sure, but what kind she couldn't tell. She reached into her pack and pulled out her Pokedex. She realized though that she didn't know how to use it. She wasn't capable of sensing what was on the screen. She pressed a few of the buttons trying to figure it out before realizing she hadn't even turned it on yet. She found the power button, but without being able to see the screen, she still couldn't figure out how to use it. "Meghan?" She asked. "Can you help me with this?" She didn't want to explain what was wrong. She just hoped that Meghan would assume she didn't know how to use it, even though that was only part of the problem.

Markus wasn't really paying attention to Max too much other than to keep on the trail, trying to figure out if the Pokemon had any common sense and dispersed into the woods...Then again, powerful Pokemon lived in the THICK woods. Viridian Forest was an exception...Kind of. He hadn't done, well, anything. Then Max Spoke up.

" The names Max, I saw you take on that Drowzee with your Squirtle..that thing hit the perfect angle on that Drowzee. Oak's Drowzee's must not be trained. No offense but a bunch of starter Pokemon with no trainer took out a team of them.. A little odd dont you think? and your name is ?"

"It was just either smarts on the starter or lucky shots, I wasn't telling it where to aim..." Markus said. "What, were you expecting prodigies right off the bat, or something?"

Funny he should be saying that, but it was quite the truth.

Before the conversation could advance, some odd chirping noises caught everyone's attention. He knew it was a flying type, a pidgey. He was considering capturing one, and committed, but couldn't find any out in the open, away from everyone else so he wouldn't be interfered with, or be interfered. This took a second...During which the Pidgey almost looked to escape.

Markus kept silent while the others though of their introductions. Markus did not instantly want to take the spotlight. being who he was, that happened quite often without him intending to, and he really didn't want a million questions concerning mom, dad, or how rich he was. No-one was local, no-one recognized him, and lying outright was bad. Mark was a shortened Markus.

"Uh, I'm Mark. Kanto local, but I haven't left it in my life. Nearly got killed by a rogue Porygon once, and that's about it for interesting stuff. Only real fear is helplessness, but otherwise, bring it. Aspirations is to join the police force, any rank will do. Training a strong team just helps. Probably a Detective or something."

That summed up the parts he wanted to talk about, and the parts that kept it from being too easy to pin down. Rogue Porygon attacks were not unheard of but uncommon enough to note at the same time to keep it from being too bland. He honestly wasn't for all of that sneaky stuff, it was stupid, but there were personal questions that he didn't want to talk about.

As the Pidgey were about to leave, rats made themselves very well apparent on the other side. He wasn't nearly as interested in them, though.

"Yeah these things are different back where I come from too.." She smiled.
"I'm not sure what model this thing is..looks older than me." She joked. Meg carefully pulled out hers and held it up next to Rose's. Making sure it was right in front of her. She slowly went through the basic functions making sure Rose would be good with it. Finally getting to the point of having the dex speak up.
"There you go.. I think you can set a voice.." Meg said scratching her head.
" Though, Im not sure how. What do you say to catching a pokemon. We can catch our first pokemon togehter!"

The introductions were interrupted by the appearance of a group of rattata, most of who watched from the bushes. One of the Rattata however was much ore bold. It came out into the open and openly stared at the group of trainers with no fear at all.

Fury, who had taken to using Rocky's shoulder as a perch, started to quiver in anticipation. The charmander jmuped to the ground and then looked up at Rocky with a pleading look in it's eyes. "Go For it Fury, lets catch that Pokemon."

With a "Char" of delight, Fury rushed at the Rattata and tried to headbutt it. The rattata however was faster than Fury and dodged away to climb a tree. Rocky thought that he had missed his chance until he saw that the rattata hadn't run away. It was taunting Fury while hanging onto the trunk of the tree.



The Rattata was having a fun time playing with Fury and didn't want it to stop.

"Force isn't always the best way, Fury. Use Smokescreen to confuse Rattata and then use headbutt." Rocky instructed the Charmander. Fury looked over and nodded. It then produced a stream of smoke that obscured the Rattata's vision, and then charged into the smoke. There was a loud thunk of forehead meeting forhead and then Fury dragged the stunned Rattata out of the smoke by it's tail.

"Well done fury, lets add that Rattata to out team." Rocky said as he threw one his Pokeballs at the Rattata. The ball encapsulated the Rattata and then shook a couple of times before giving a 'Ping'.

Rocky gently placed the Newly caught Pokemon in his backpack. He looked around and saw two of the girls, meg and the one with the cool chingling fiddling with their Pokedexes and considering capturing one of the remaining Pokemon. Both of them had also chosen a charmander, so he felt a bond wit hthem.

"Those are some fine looking Rattatas, very energetic." he said to the two girls. "Great idea for a first catch."
