Sou listened as Max mentioned about capturing some legendaries and naturally meeting some. It didnt sound too far-fetched that he didnt think of time-travel as a big thing, but to her and possibly others that it was in fact a big thing. Time-travel was essentially a thing of dreams or stuck within the confines of one’s imagination. She didnt imagine it was a common occurrence, if it was, well, it would be weird to see two of herself. She got a curious look. ”Can I even meet myself…?” she thought but then shook her head as Max spoke up again, getting right to the point of their visit. ”Oh right….got side tracked there for a minute…hmmm” she said to herself as Greta mentioned that the pokemon were protected. To get to them, they’d have to battle Greta herself and her team, which made her a slight bit uncomfortable. The way she had been described prior was that she was an incredibly strong trainer, looking at her as she bowed to them. But that didnt mean she shouldn’t at least try, remembering something as she looked back at the bowing Greta. ”Oh!” she said suddenly and bowed back, not having done so earlier before standing up straight, an embarrassed expression plastered on her face. She chucked a bit, scratching the right side of her face with her pointer finger. ”hmmm…well I don’t mind giving it a go. No matter the outcome it should still be fun!” she said with an excited smile.

The forest transformed beyond the barrier and a village unfolded before them. Altea followed the others as they ran after the Sandshrew, which led them to a house that appeared larger than others. As they approached the building, Altea thought this was perhaps the town hall or something important. A confident woman appeared to greet them, whom Max introduced as Greta.
"Hello, nice to meet you," Altea spoke softly. She smiled and curtsied shyly as she welcomed them, a little awestruck by the woman's commanding presence. She was a little confused by the terms that were being thrown out but was a little too tired from the trip to ask, so she just nodded as if she understood.
"Are those Sandshrew your Pokemon? Or do wild Pokemon normally run in the open like that?"

Greta bent over calling one over to her.
"These secret villages are safe havens for all pokemon. There are pokemon that live here you may not find anywhere else in this region."
Greta turn to her apprentices
"Show them to our pokemon center. We want them to be fully prepared for battle." She smiled.
"Youll have twenty minutes to get ready...after the battle we can give you the proper tour but you must all earn your place here."
Sloane fell into silence when Max said he didn't know his mother. She knew that feeling very well. At least he might have known his dad, or at least that's what Sloane inferred. Sloane, on the other hand, had lacked any parental figure beyond the distant affection Lady Sun spared her at times. It wasn't that the woman didn't love her, Sloane was sure she did, but the Kimono Girl was very busy, being the head of it all does do that, so any affection was usually rushed or not delivered at all.
Sloane's head snapped up at the mention of a battle. "Twenty minutes to prepare… ok…" She balled her fists and began to untie the bandanna on her head as they walked. That was twenty minutes to work with her Pokemon. They had to be ready or else they'd all lose this great opportunity. She could interrogated Max about the Northern Celebi thing later, and she would, but right now she had to be focused on her battle.

Altea looked over at Sloane and noticed she was a little quiet; she wondered if Sloane was still hurt from the earlier fall. Altea decided that it might be better to stick closer to her so that Sloane wouldn't get more injured.
Taking out a few of her Pokeballs, she walked over and said, "Let's get our Pokemon ready together!"

Sou listened to Greta as she explained that all the pokemon there were protected and to even get a tour, they had to first earn it through battle. They had twenty minutes to prepare at a pokemon center for it, but wasn’t sure how prepared they’d have to be. ”20 minutes. alright.” she said with a small smile, moving to the pokemon center as directed by the apprentice she had called over just moments before.

"With all due respect Greta..I know how you train. For my teammates to be ready for this we are going to need some real practice first. Point us to a field where we can practice and we let you know when WE are ready." Max said in a respectful yet firm ton. He looked at the others.
"Lets hurry up."
As they walked towards the towns small pokemon center he looked at the team.
"Nothing you have been through yet will have trained you for this..I wouldnt be surprised if the gym battle is easier than this. Greta is not going to give us anything for free. Her trainees are going to come at us with 6 pokemon all fully trained."
Max arrived at the Pokemon Center and quickly hooked into the PC.
"Now lets see what we got."
Max had pitched up saying that to be ready that they would need some practice first, letting her know that we would let her know when we thought we were ready, resting a hand on the side of her face, a look of uncertainty. She followed after them to the pokemon center when where Max stated just what we would be going up against. She frowned a bit at the mention at 6 full trained pokemon. Did that mean they would be leveled far higher then anything they had on their person? Some of her pokemon she had a good idea hadn’t fully evolved so she got a little worried about it as they headed into the pokemon center. Sou raised an eyebrow as he hooked into the PC. but watched. ”The strongest pokemon I have are already on my person. I wonder just how strong her trainees are.” she said.
Greta had told them that to be allowed to catch any pokemon in the area, they would have to battle her apprentices. They had to be ready in 20 minutes. Max then respectfully told her that they would need to train first. They were brought to the town's Pokemon Center to prepare their teams.
Zenith went over to one of the available PC's and looked through the pokemon in her storage. She decided to switch out a couple of her pokemon.
PC Switch!
Aponi the Butterfree for Nidoran(F)
Tanya the Raticate for Cleffa
Once Zenith had her pokemon, she headed outside and let everyone out of their Poke Balls. "Qeb, Freefall, Kamau, Calder, we have two new teammates! Meet Nidoran and Cleffa!"
Zenith's older pokemon happily welcomed the two new newcomers, and Nidoran and Cleffa were happy to make new friends. After all of her pokemon had made acquaintances, she told them what was going on.
"Alright, guys, we're about to have a training session," Zenith said. "Nidoran, Cleffa, you two are really far behind the others, so we'll be mostly focusing on you two so you can catch up. The training is going to hard, are you up to it?"
"Nido!" Nidoran said, nodding her head.
"Clef!" Cleffa said, nodding as well.
"Great!" Zenith said. "Hm, you two need names... I know! Nidoran, how about Ila for you, and Cleffa, what about Teela for you?"
"Nido/Clef!" the two pokemon cried happily, nodding at the names.
"Then it settled!" Zenith said. "Now we just need to wait for the others, and then we can start training."

Sloane went into the center. As useful as Kavacha was, he just wasn't ready for battle yet. She'd have to switch him out with a Pokemon that was better ready to battle. She frowned as she tried to decide who to switch Kavacha out with. She had a flying type already, but poisoning an opponent could be useful. However, the changes of it were very low and such abilities weren't really a part of her style. "Sorry Kavacha and Egeking, but I think Orna is the most ready out of you three."
PC switch!
Kavacha the Metapod for Orna the Geodude
With that done, Sloane went back outside. She searched for a secluded area that was still close, but far enough that nobody would really bother her. Despite Altea's fascination with her training style, Sloane had found many others criticized it, especially when they gained knowledge of her blasted knee. Sloane's fingers tightened around the black bandanna in her hand in frustration, but a quick deep breath discarded the anger. This was neither the time nor place to grow angry about something like that. Sloane unclipped the Pokeballs from her belt and sent out her Pokemon. "Ok guys, here we go. Everyone except Immortality and Orna should know the drill so either explain it to them or let them sit out this round but we need to work fast. Alright?" All her Pokemon nodded. "Ok, let's do this."
Sloane walked to the center of the field and tied the bandanna over her eyes so she couldn't see. All her Pokemon except Clarent took up different positions on the battlefield, with Clarent circling silently a little ways above it all. Sloane took another deep breath and allowed her other senses to adjust for the lack of sight. Soon she was hearing the smallest details around her and was quick to dodge the incoming attack from behind. Judging by the weight of the steps and the pattern of them, it had probably been Ascalon attacking. Sloane spun out of the way of another attack, the pad of four feet giving away Carwennan faster than the Houndour would have liked. Arondight and Clarent came next, both missing Sloane as she tuck and rolled. The attacks kept coming, with Orna and Immortality joining in after a little bit, but each attack missing their target.
