Zenith bared her teeth in anger at the term of endearment. "Don't call me 'Little Dove'!" she snarled. "You may have beaten me last time, but now is a whole different game!" She took one of the Poke Balls from her belt and threw it in the air.

Zenith wins the battle!!
Zenith smirked as she recalled her pokemon. She felt a huge wave of satisfaction wash over her. Revenge truly was a dish best served cold. "Looks like the tables have turned, haven't they? How does it feel?" she said. She wanted to continue rubbing it all in Vic's face, but decided against it. She then turned to Sou, who had finished her own battle and won. "Great job, Sou!" she said.

"Tell me league champ..do you even remember what it was like to just be apart of the world instead of acting as if you live above it?"
After the battle ended Max walked up the trainer.
"Not above...just with more light on all of my wins and losses." He nodded walking over to Sloane.
As he got over the girl stood their.
"You think you won?" she smiled.
"You are suppose to be the golden child and I am the outcast remember. The dishonored one....but your last pokemon was hanging on by a thread. This was a loss for both of us." She said staying calm.
"My pokemon are in need of my attention. Next time we met little Kimono the gloves comes off." She said collecting her pokemon and walking away.
Max paused having seen the end part of the battle.
"Close one huh?" he joked
Meanwhile
The Harris collected their pokemon and gripped and moaned as they headed out. Vic looked at Zenith with a big smile
"You already know this isnt the last time we are going to meet..."
Tony pulled his shirt.
"Time to focus more on training.."
The two disappeared.
As the trainers all continued forward they had all attracted attention. As they reached the road block to enter the fourth section they realized they were now all in the semi finals. Zenth and Sou could see Max and Sloane at the far end. Only 8 trainers including them were left. Max looked at Sloane.
"We dont know them, okay?" he reminded her. It was better safe than sorry.
Max felt tugging on his sleeve. Trainers all around him holding up paper to sign. As he continued to play his role Zenith and Sou had room to look around a little.
Sloane gave her rival a confused look. She glanced up as Max approached. "Yeah hang on a second." She saw Aithne walking away and cupped her hands around her mouth than called out, "Last I checked I wasn't a Golden Child! But don't be a sore loser! You're just afraid of someone's that stronger than you!" Sloane lowered her hands, picked up her waking stick (which had fallen when she cupped her hands to call after Aithne), and turned to Max.
"Close one? Big time. Chick took out my entire team except Parashu, and even he was knocked down to one health." Sloane pat the tired sandshrew's head. "He's pretty much worn out. I don't think I'll be able to fight after this. Aithne was really strong. More bark than bite, but still a lot of bite."
Sloane looked around when she realized that they were in the semifinals. She shifted her walking shift to her other hand so she could wave to Sou and Zenith, but stopped before she could lift her hand at Max's warning. She nodded. That was probably best.
Sloane smirked in amusement at Max's autograph signings, just standing off to the side as to not get in the way. But still, she was worried, because how was she supposed to even battle in the next round if Parashu was only hanging on by a thin thread?
After the Harris brothers had left, Zenith sighed in relief. "I can't believe I actually managed to beat him with such a disadvantage..." she said. She then turned to Sou. "C'mon, Sou, let's get going." She then started to walk off ahead to the next area. As they reached the next section, she saw there were eight people left, including them, Max and Sloane. She wanted to call out to them, and Sloane had seemed about to do that herself, but Max stopped her. He must have wanted them to pretend they didn't know each other for the moment for whatever reason.
Zenith then realized that the pace had slowed down quite a bit, and that gave her and Sou some time to look around. She then glanced back over at Max, who had a crowd of people wanting his autograph, and grinned in amusement. I guess being really famous like that can be a pain sometimes, she thought.

The group had entered the semi finals. It was hard to tell who was there battling and who was there watching. A biker stepped forward letting out a loud whistle getting everyone's attention.
"Listen up! This tournament happens once every other day. Now normally trainers battle for the leader of the day however we have a treat for you..today the bridges true champion will be stepping up to fight the winner of the finals. Also for the semi finals trainers will be putting up a pokemon each. The winner will claim the losers pokemon!" The man shouted
The crowd began to cheer excitedly.
"All pokemon will be healed before the match. Id like to introduce the 8 finalists!"
"First we have the filthy four! The Sons of Arcanine enforcers."
"Than we have these four... Three unknonws and a former champ. Who have come for the very first time to take the bring by storm. Whats going to happen!"
The crowd erupted excited for the possible match ups.
((So… like the winner of each semi-final match takes the loser's Pokemon or the winner overall takes the loser's Pokemon?))
Sloane swallowed roughly. Well she was screwed. Her grip on her walking stick tightened to the point of her knuckles turning white. Parashu perked up a little and nuzzled Sloane gently. She smiled at pet him, but it was a nervous smile. She looked at Max. "Max, I-I can't lose one of my Pokemon. This is… I don't know… but… Immortality, Arondight, Kavacha, Egeking, Ascalon, Carwennan, Chaac, Orna, Clarent, and Parashu… they're all counting on me using them again soon. I can't just lose them. And asking me to put up one of my Pokemon… that's like asking me to pick a least favorite child! What should I do?"
Sloane watched with worried eyes as the men approached with the healing machine. She returned Parashu to his Pokeball and healed her team up. She sent out Parashu again and let him mount her shoulder before waiting for further instructions.
After a while, a tall, rather fat man with a bald head called for everyone's attention. He then went into a speech about how the tournament was held every other day, and that the bridge's 'true champion' was making an appearance to battle the winner of the tournament. He then explained that all of the remaining trainers would be betting one of their pokemon, and that the winner would receive the losers' pokemon. He finally introduced all of the remaining competitors; four members of the Sons of Arcanine, and Max, Sloane, Sou and Zenith.
Zenith frowned heavily. She had absolutely no desire to bet one of her pokemon away. That was just cruel, as well as illegal. How were these guys getting away with taking other peoples' pokemon? Zenith turned to Sou, an upset look on her face. "Sou... what do we do? We can't just bet off our pokemon..." she said.
Just then, some men came out with a healing machine for pokemon.
Zenith sighed and walked up to the machine. When it was her turn, she placed her pokemon's Poke Balls into the slots of the device. Once they were healed, she took them back and clipped them to her belt. She then stepped away from the machine, a dour look on her face.

Max made his way over to talk with Sloane as the bikers appeared. Sloane expressed real concern about the rules of the battle. Max hadnt thought twice about the battle. He had of course grown attached to his team but as a trainer he had lost pokemon before both in passing and to other trainers and criminals. His response to Sloane was that of someone who wanted her to make her own choice.
"I have two questions for you. Do you trust your pokemon and do you trust yourself?" He asked looking her in the eyes.

Sou stood there as she awaited what she thought would be a response similar to the first guys they battled on the bridge. They had showed remorse for what they said and even explained why they had acted that way, but these guys just kind of complained about their loss. The one who had battled and was familiar with Zenith said that it wouldn’t be the last time they would meet before he and the other one disappeared. She scratched her head a bit and looked to Zenith as she sighed in relief. She seemed to be just as unsure as she was about whether she would be able to beat a third opponent in a row. Nonetheless, as Zenith then said, she continued down the bridge where a crowd of people were waiting. She hadn’t noticed Max as soon as Zenith had until she looked in the direction she was facing, but said nothing to him or Sloane. She hadn’t seen the interaction between the two but decided not to say anything. A bunch of people seemed to want Max’s autograph though and she found herself chuckling a bit at that. I wonder if this is normal in crowds of people like this for him?” she pondered.
As she stood in the crowd, she heard a loud whistle, looking over towards a biker who seemed to call for their attention. Sou didn’t really have an expression as she listened to the man talk, introducing four other bikers and then their group. The biker’s caught her attention of course, being they were here to look for a biker gang in the first place. Perhaps these guys were the ones causing all the mayhem up here. Still, the crowd around them cheered instead for matches to come and who would be paired up against who. Luckily, it seemed their pokemon were going healed before the next batch of matches. Thank goodness….” she muttered as she stood beside Zenith. The only thing she really didn’t like about this was the fact that there was a rule that the winner would claim one of the loser’s Pokemon. That, she wasn’t okay with, especially if she somehow ended up losing to one of the biker’s in the semi-finals. No. There was no way she was going to lose! ”I love my partners too much to lose them here.” she thought when Zenith turned to her, asking her what they were going to do. She was clearly upset. ”I….I don’t want to put up any of my Pokemon either…they’re my partners… and my friends. I don’t know… but if those two are going to do it… no. I don’t know Zenith but… do we have a choice here? Especially if well…. you know the reason we came here in the first place….” she muttered before following after Zenith to get her Pokemon all healed up.
After her Pokemon healed, she walked over to the side where she was standing before. ”I don’t like the idea of losing my Pokemon or even putting them up Zen but…. I believe in my partners.” she said.
Sloane considered the question carefully. The concern was clear as day on her face and she wasn't sure what to believe. She swallowed roughly and shivered. "I trust my partners. I'm not sure how much I trust myself though," she admitted to Max.
